[[ Front page updated! Expect a post from me asap. I will try to incorporate everyone into it, but the people who aren't in the same places as my characters might not be involved directly. Hopefully we'll all get grouped into some haphazard groups though. ]]

The small male stealthily cut through the shadows, his eyes wide as he shook like a leaf. He looked for any signs of life, running treacherously through the light. He ran past a dog, trying to escape a fate unimaginable. He shivered, trying to get that image out of his mind. He heard a terrified yelp, and then silence. He started to sprint, terrified. He breathed hard, his only goal to reach the group just outside the city.

His legs felt like jelly as he reached the group, terrified. "Yaah.." he breathed. "Hi..'' he muttered, shaking like a leaf.

[Sapphy.]

Dusk -

Dusk has never liked the dark. Not the darkness itself of course, but the possible monsters that could be lying within it. Luckily now, in this seemingly empty large superstore complex parking garage, there wasn't mch darkness, for the lights, though sometimes they flickered, kept a constant glow. Once, he remembered fondly, him and his brother had pndered on whatthey would've done if it was the end of the world. "Shoot 'em! Of course!" Shiro had laughed, and Dusk answered " But if you miss, like you normally do with girls, then your pretty much Brains-A-La-Zombie!" laughing as well, which pretty much earned him a taunting from Shiro's part.

Little did he know that he was the one that just might have ended up Brains-A-La-Zombie if it hadn't been for a lucky break. Except there weren't much of those for the human survivors. Well, at least he had East. "Lets go boy." Dusk said calmly, well, as calmly as he could, being in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse and all. He never really believed that the world would end like this. He reconed some type of asteroid would hit Earth and end civilization before a Virus broke out that would pretty much turn everyone into walking, well kind of, moaning, disgusting human parasites.

But ah well, he couldn't say he wasn't warned. So East, reluctantly, followed. -


( So pretty much, Dusk is walking around aimlessly in the Garage place. Anyone is welcomed to bump into him :3 He's unarmed by the way.. Great way to start a Zombie Apocalypse, no? )


Sapphire -

"This is so predictable..." Sapphire said disappointedly as she walked through a Garage. She had seen a boy, about her age, maybe a bit older, with black hair and blue eyes, quite handsome if you asked her, but also clueless. He had a dog with him which would surely attract a hoard of Zombies sooner or later, but instead of taking this as an opportunity to save a fellow human being and take him along with her, who was by far more knowledgeable on the situation, before he was turned into a Zombie. But no, she would spare herself the trouble. After all, why? She would be risking her life for a stranger, and what would she get in return? A few slobbery kisses from his pet dog?

Sapphy sighed, and decided to follow him in the shadows instead. What harm would it do her? Maybe he had supplies hidden somewhere! Maybe he had a camp set up! Or another group of survivors! The thoughts rushed through her instantly, then she unconsciously agreed that it would be in her best interest to follow this guy. After all, who knew right?


( Foo, foo, sorry for the short posts on Sapphy. Pretty much, she's stalking Dusk. That way if someone bumps into her or him, I'll have something to do with both characters ^^ )

~Richard Hill~
Status: Alive 'n' kicking
Currently: Near the outskirts of the city {specifically; on top of a car}

Richard cast his gaze down the street once more, eyes darting under every car, into every alley that he could see from his vantage point. Nothing stirred; the same as every time he checked. Sighing, he ran a hand through the back of his short hair, grimacing at the noise his sudden movement caused. He turned again and watched the other end of the street, this time heading out of the city. Cars piled up in one huge, deadly traffic jam. Luckily for Rick, the majority of... people had left already; gone further into the city where the most meat was, he presumed.

He'd known what it would be like-- he had watched enough zombie movies to know that civilisation was always where the most dead (or undead) were always found. So why had he come here? The answer was simple: he couldn't survive on his own for much longer. It had been... days since he'd slept for more than an hour at a time. It was a wonder he could still function enough to walk, let alone sneak along and plan as he went. Maybe he was just lucky though; maybe he was just running off spare energy and out of the blue he'd suddenly pass out when he was least expecting it.

"Hm. Great." Rick muttered, "Preparing for the worst, huh?" he was tired of always looking out for himself, always staying alert and planning ahead. If he found a group, sure, they couldn't do it all for him --he'd never allow it, even if that were possible-- but atleast the added numbers could take a little pressure off.

With a sigh, Richard crouched down where he stood, on top of a hefty Land Rover, and fished around in his bag. His hand brushed against the stowed AK-47 and he flinched, touching one finger softly to the part he'd nudged; the muzzle. With careful movements, he bundled the blanket a little tighter around the gun, darting a look up every now and then to make sure he was still alone. It had been a few days since he'd seen a zombie, atleast, one that was "alive". The creature had been wandering aimlessly along the road and Rick was able to slip past on his way to the city without firing a shot. Ammo was too precious to waste on a single walker, especially when a way around it was possible. Rick shook his head, forcing the image from his mind and focusing once more on the bag, smiling a little when he pulled out the canteen of water he'd been looking for. The sloshing sound was reassuring; he still had plenty left, but it was noticably lighter than the day before, a fact that worried Richard into taking the tiniest sip possible.

Rick sat back up, still squatting on the roof and checked around him once more. Abandoned cars, litter and bodies stared back at him from crumbling buildings and the cars that had crashed into them, the silence was as if he'd taken a blanket and covered the whole world, and with a sigh, he pulled his own blanket out, wrapped it around his shoulders and thumbed his Glock from its holster.
"There'll be food in the city. Everything's going to be okay."

Status: Alive but slightly injured.
Placing: Near Rick, freaking out.

He seen Rick, carefully checking for signs of alive-ness. Such as, tannish skin, coloured hair, and alive eyes. He didn't notice a zombie advancing on him, at an advantage point. He smelled it first, uttering a stunned cry. He ran to the car Rick was on, sweating in the humid air. He quickly jumped on the car, embarrassed. 'Sorry 'bout this.' he said, using the car to jump daringly onto the zombie and stab it until it just.. Fell. Yeap. Fell.

'Sorry about the sudden entrance.' he sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. 'Did wanna die today.' the ten year old smiled, cleaning his knife. 'Rockie. You?' he asked, watching the older male.

[Kyles]

Bella and Austin:
Status: Bella is injured badly.
Placement: About a half-mile from the main group.

Austin panted as he set Bella down on the ground to rest. His heart sank when he looked over her face, paling by the second. She coughed.

"Please love. Go on without me." she gurgled. Austin kneeled beside her and stroked her cheek.
"Never sweetie. I will never leave you." His eyes tearing up, he changed the bandages on her chest and threw the blood-soaked cloth aside. The bullet hole was small but it had punctured her lung and he needed to get her somewhere fast. His hands fluttered over her in desperation. The beautiful brown color of her eyes had faded to black, and she stared into the distance lifelessly. With as much strength as she could muster, she lifted her hand and placed it on his, squeezing it lovingly. Austin kissed her cheek and stood up. Feeling the last bits of self-protection draining from his body, he cupped his hands around his mouth and screamed.
"Help! Help please! I need a doctor! Please!"
