Stormpaw grumbled. "Another meeting..." But he walked over to the Highstone anyway.

Leafkit bounced around the nursery. "Can I go out to the Highstone?" He asked.

Snowdapple walked from her den to the Highstone, her thick white, black and ginger tail waving.

Brightpaw checked herself. She knew she had to be solemn so she bowed her head in respect, listening for Dewstar to complete saying the sacred words, and making Starlight deputy. She will be a good deputy. she thought.

" You are our new deputy...Now will Frostpaw and Stormpaw step forward....Frostpaw, your mentor is Thornpath and Stormpaw your mentor is Starlight..." Dewstar called out to the clan.
