B o a z

Boaz looked above him as he saw bird flying ahead, he could tell that was a bad sign but he decided he wanted to have a look for himself. He hid in bushes curious to what had caused the birds to flee quickly, he felt his body shake but knew he had to be quiet, fore if the thing was what he thought it was...he needed to stay as quiet as possible. He felt this feeling he had yet to overcome, fear, but that only scratched the top of what was going through his head. He knew he might be easy to see since his coloring wasn't the least bit of camouflage he needed. Boaz silently laid down, trying to calm his shaking body with fear and adrenaline, the thought of his family safe and sound back at the dens somewhat eased the shaking of his fragile body. He could feel his heart racing, his ears were flat against his head so he could dash out of the scene if he needed to flee in a hurry. Boaz was ready to put up a fight, but knew since he was only a pup that it may be difficult for him to understand a creature's weaknesses and strengths...but his size didn't help the fact that he couldn't take down a mere deer. He was afraid to flee, not sure of how close the thing was to him but he wanted to get out of the forest as quick as possible. He let his eyes wander, searching for something unfamiliar to him or even better one of his friends that he ran into along the way to the forest. Boaz was frightened, but he knew he had to stay strong, anything could sense fear a mile away.

Achilles

He clenched his maw, an action fueled by different emotions rumbling inside him. "I was planning to improvise on the basis of Akia's truthfull words," he said, turning to her and flashing her a small smile. "Don't get me wrong," he added, maybe slightly in a slightly more hurriedly tone. "I've been thinking of my speech since I decided on trying to join the pack. Yet I think the best thing is just answering their questions with the truth." He directed maintained his gaze with Achilles', knowing that this might seem like a slgihtly childish response. After some moments, he dropped his eyes, and shrugged nochalantly. "It's what I'm best at. I'll simply seem rigid or mess up if I had prepared a speech beforehand."

Achilles listened intently, nodding after the teen had finished speaking. "Well if you want I could guide you inside Zeph-"
For a very sudden moment he paused, glancing back a bit at the teenie group that seemed to be huddling restlessly in the corner. He looked at one of the teens in particular, ears pricking slightly as he observed. A slight redness came to his cheeks, his eyes glowing with expression of interest. Realizing he had never fully finished his sentence he shook his head, clearing his throat bit nervously. "Sorry about that."
he said apologetically to the younger male. "Just wondering what they were doing. So...do you want me to come in with you or Akia or both? It hardly matters to me, whoever you feel most comfortable with." he shrugged. To say the truth he seemed a bit rushed, as if he wanted to be somewhere else, though he restrained himself, as if keeping
in mind that Zephyr's welcoming was a more important matter and an honour to participate in.

The fae watched as some of the teens walked off while others still kept close. She was tempted to go after the buoyant
black brown and white teenie as well as Alysaidir but wanting to get some battle training in she kneaded at the ground a bit and stayed.

Hearing Kafka's suggestion to embellish her idea she nodded enthusiastically, "Ya that sounds fun!" she said wagging her tail. She pricked her ears catching an unfamiliar wolf scent, turning her head she spotted Akia and Achilles escorting a rogue into camp and towards Dax's cave. She lifted a brow curiously at the sight, flicking her ears forward so she could try and hear.
Something about introductions had been said, so it was safe to say the rogue was gonna join the clan. He was a young teen male, which are her excited because maybe that meant she'd have another pack member her age to hang around with.
She also noticed Achilles glance over, smiling and giggling to herself a bit as he turned his head away blushing. It had looked to her as though he had been self conscious, thinking almost instinctually perhaps the throng of teens had been gossiping about the warrior. Which was hardly the case at all.
Deciding to canter over Alida dipped her head in greeting, "Hello Achilles, Akia." she said nodding to both.
She glanced at Zephyr for a moment, wondering how to acknowledge him, deciding a nod would suffice for him as well she did so, her expression very honestly cheerful.
"Akia, when your done here if you want you can come play with us." she smiled. "You can come too." she said to Zephyr.
"We're doing battle training." she said informatively. She seemed to puff up her chest a bit, as if proud that she was on her way
to becoming a warrior. She had talent mainly as a huntress, and it showed in her conformation. Her figure was lithe
and graceful, accompanied by a light sleek coat that was very well adapted for running through dense vegetation. Her tail
probably added in too, being shorter and curled made it less likely to catch in branches.

Haestine

Haestine nodded to Kafka, saying, "That works with me. Anything in particular you want us to stay away from doing?" The male needed to have boundaries or he was bound to go to far. Kneading his paws restlessly into the ground, he planted his haunches into the ground and held his head low, calculating. While there were ones more built for fighting, like himself, there were some tactical advantages with having the more hunter like teens on his team. The were lighter and swifter, which meant they could easily whip around and slip away from the enemy when need be. Not all of the best fighters were strong and bulky.

Turning his head slightly to look at Achilles and the other two, he briefly thought that he had seen the rouge before. Haestine couldn't be entierly sure, as he wasn;t a very social wolf and he didn't take well to remembering most names.

It was then, as he swiveled his ears back that he heard birds off into the distance take off. He couldn't hear them very well, but he had swiveled his ears a just the right time to hear them slightly. The burnt rose male lifted his head up towards the sound, muttering one word, "Katniss..." His voice was hardly audible and his eyes were intent.

However he knew that his sister was still mad at him. Even though he wanted to rip Alysdair to shreds, he knew that the blue male's company was more welcomed by his sister than his was right now. Besides, if she needed something, she would howl. It was their communication system, and it worked wonders. Putting it into the back of his mind, he turned his attention back to the group, waiting.

Xerxes

"Are you mad, Xer?! You almost killed me!!" Eo growled, then pushed him off her. "Do you know where is dad or mom? I need to talk to them..." she continued in a more hushed and calm tone, Xerxes could tell when someone was in the mood to play, so he went back to being himself, more calm and collected. "No, I didn't see them when I woke up in the den, they probably went out for a walk. We can go back and see if they are their though." he suggested.

Right after his words, the grass started moving, far off in the forest, birds flew away. The birds screamed loudly, Xerxes layed his ears down flat to his skull in annoyance. "Brother... What is it?" Eo asked him, looking at the place where the grass moved.

Xerxes could see flashes of white connected with a blue-green color that didn't match the grass. The pup stepped in front of his little sister, to protect her and he spread his feet apart and stood up straighter, trying to look bigger and stronger. The wind blew and he could see an older, but still not adult, wolf face hidden in the grass. "Who are you?" he asked.

[[Hehe, almost forgot that Swift was hiding in the grass nearby.]]

"What the...?!"

Kaliza looked back at Khan sheepishly, and a little nervous. The look of surprise and confusion on Khan's face quickly slipped away, and was replaced with an amused smirk.

"It's ok, you didn't mean to."

Kaliza found herself almost melting with releif that Khan hadn't been distraught with her. She'd expected a snappy remark, and maybe a growl. She swept her tail gently to her side, and looked back to Khan.

"Won't happen again." Kaliza said, almost giggling.

She turned in the opposite direction, and noticed that the sun was almost below the horizon. The sun cast a golden glow over everything, and even Kaliza's deep, midnight blue fur appeared almost blured into a golden hue. She glanced at Khan one last time, observing that his own already golden markings appeared to be slightly luminescent.

"Well, we should really get going now, it'll be dark soon." She waited for Khan approvel, tensing her muscles in aniticipation for the evening "walk", guessing that it would be more of a run in an effort to get around the border before the stars showed up.

Returning Zephyr's smile shyly, Akia flicked her ears back and lowered her chin a bit. She noticed that Achilles seemed distracted, but decided not to question him about it, though a spark of curiosity lit her bi-colored eyes when she noticed Achilles glancing at one of the teens. Akia seemed a bit distracted as well, no doubt anxious to be going.

She turned her head when she heard Alida speak. "Sure, I'd love to," she said happily, pricking her white-tipped ears and smiling wider. At hearing the other young fae mention training, Akia's chest puffed out a bit too, though was markedly less evident than Alida's. This, she realized, was one of the most important things she'd done as an apprentice. Her sharp grey claws dug at the red earth in impatience and eagerness to delve into the tunnels. She noticed in an offhand way that Alida's invitation for Zephyr to join in the play was probably a positive omen. I just hope the Alphas have the same attitude.

Z E P H Y R

Zephyr noticed Achilles pause between his sentence, and a small smile crept across his features. He raised his eyebrows, noticing the rouge growing into the tone in his cheeks, and let out a small chuckle as his - Achilles - thoughts rescrambled themselves together to look at them, hesitant, questioning, and, at the same time, baffled.

"Somewhere you´d rather be, eh?" he asked, teasing, slight mischief intoned in his rhetorical sentence, eyes sparkling, now definitely and noticeably more confident than beforehand. He had decided to take a more brotherly approach to this brute; Achilles seemed welcoming enough, therefore the aztec-marked male had decided to take a friendlier outlook on their aquaintance. Who knew, perhaps they could become close friends in the future. Nevertheless, more important problems stuck in Zephyr´s mind as he weighed out the current situation and the availability of the Alpha´s.

However, the pondering fawn brute was drawn out of his thoughts when another teen broke from the large group at the rendez-vous nearby - a fae, by the scent of it - and bound happily, slightly naïvely, towards their small cluster, inviting Akia, and later, himself to a war-game that would happen shortly thereafter. He hesitated between the indifferent and terse facade, and decided to act through the latter; it might hurt the sleek fae´s feelings if he acted too superior than he should be. He let out a terse nod, followed by a hesitant, perhaps somewhat forced, smile, before turning to the pensive, apparently proud midnight effeminate, and nudging her with her tail, before turning to Achilles.

"You head on," the brute intoned with an understanding smile. "We will be able to manage by ourselves, I believe," he said, turning his head towards the small formation of apprentices, raising his eyes and nodding in their direction. He knew what Achilles might be living; he obviously was being reclaimed by the soft, attractive tendrils of some fae, or another, and wanted to be near her or by her side when they were away talking more serious matters with the Alphas.

He turned to Akia, expression becoming slightly softer, and pinted his maw to the rocky outcrops known as home for the rest of the warriors. "Shall we go ahead, then?" He smiled, politely, and a sheepish look flitted across his face. "You´ll have to lead, though. As you must conclude, I know not of the ways through your dens," he said, looking away slightly, back at the ever-waiting and patient Achilles.

Khantor {Khan}
The fae's pelt glowed in the fading light of dawn.
For a faint moment Khan's gaze softened, Kaliza's silhouette flickering. Images of a female very different in pattern
but similar in figure replaced the form of the aquamarine wolf. The vision was bittersweet, Khan's gaze softening.
However almost as quickly as she came the fae disappeared, Kaliza reappearing once more.

"Well we should get going now, it'll be dark soon."

As she spoke Khan nodded his head in agreement, attempting to mask any emotion that may have appeared in his expression during the vision.
Moving forward he tried to break into a trot, wincing slightly. It was then that he recollected not long before this he
had been engaged in a battle with a lone male. Narrowing his eyes his more stiff and brutish nature seemed to return to him and
he bristled. He somewhat hoped they found the loners on the territory, and that the male he had
altercated with was among the couple. In his own mind, the business was unfinished.

"He would have liked to see you, too bad you didn't accept my proposal. Now Ill have to kill you."
Blood trickled from a wound above the males brow, his teeth bared savagely. He was heavily wounded, him and Khan perched on a hilltop.
"Dont flatter yourself. You and I both know your not capable, not in your condition."
"Stupid kid." muttered the creature between pants. "How long are you gonna keep this up?" he asked with a grunt.
"Until there's one wolf left standing." Khan snarled bitterly.
The rivalling male had a sense of desperation in his character, he had been weakened by hunger. He wouldn't be able to last much longer fighting.
Bunching his muscles he pivoted, swerving past Khan. He had the advantage of being older and larger, and so using his weight
he toppled the teen over, grasping him as the two beasts slid through the bracken and down the hill towards the riverside.
Tumbling into the rapids the male pinned down Khan, attempting to drown him. Khantor's shoulder had been opened when he been jerked into a sharp rock on the hill. As he attempted to free himself his injury hindered his blows. His assailant chuckled,
his features coiling as he grinned wickedly. "Should had quit while you were ahead kid." he mused.
Gathering is strength Khan kicked the loners stomach, launching the traducer off with a satisfying yelp of pain.
Gasping as he clambered to the riverbank Khan snorted, ears pinning back as he watched the male turn tail and run.
"Coward." he said angrily.

The flashback played through his mind, the memory just as vivid as when it had all unfolded.
"He would have liked to see you-"
Those few words were enough to make Khan's muscles tense, and his step quicken to a sprint.

He gradually slowed and trotted towards Katniss once he caught up to where she was. His shaggy coat bouncing along with his movements as well as his long busy tail. Yellow and green centered hues looked down at Katniss below his own snout as she laid out upon the blue grass. A look of doubt crossed his face as he looked at the teen. "You make me feel like an old man having to run after you." He teased some what, though the amusement was hidden behind concern for the young female, despite the fact she was around the same age as he.

His gaze shifted to the glowing moth that landed upon her nose and gave a sort of smile. "Well I doubt a moth could harm you, yes; but the forest is unpredictable these days." He tilted his head as he looked down at her, awaiting a reaction; his tail swaying back and forth a bit. "Either way, for now your stuck with me till your ready to go back." He flashed a quick grin. "Those Kronador are pretty sneaky though; I wouldn't put it pass them for hiding in a dense bush."

He moved around so at least he could see her face to face now, awaiting her reaction. "The others will worry though if we're gone too long." He shrugged off the fact her brother would also tear him to shreds so to speak.
