I stand looking over my former land,
Watching as the buildings no longer stand,
I sigh and turn,disturbing the ashes,
Looking at my comrades,who eyes are also like ashes.
I go to join them, not looking back,
And continue through through the woods and into the bracken,
On our journey we may not survive,
Going to the unknown district that may still thrive.
I take the lead and feel the tear,
And hope the others do not near,
The tear for all the lost souls,
Who will not make it home.

I made this poem about Gale when he took the survivors of District twelve to district thirteen.

I'm just worried my parents won't let me see it. They're really negative towards the hunger games, and when I asked about the movie, they said probably not... Since all it is is people running around killing each other in the games.

Well i first heard it on their cd and i didn't think any thing of it. i thought it was just a god song. then i saw it on i tunes under the hunger games and this song showed up with taylor swifts song. but the line that remindes me about the hunger games is the line "i here them getting closer, their sending chills down my spin.... when we start killing" so personally i think it would be an awsome song for the movie (but just the credits)

I think the song would go good with when Katniss is running around looking for Cato with Peeta. And so it's all like "doon da da da DA DA DA DAAAAAAAAA.". Well, maybe not just like that xD. But, I has made my point.
