Soon I fell asleep, leaning my head against the wall of the van.

Around 3:55, Marcas pulled over and went to sleep.

:Zoey:

Running. Running. They were going to catch me. The black suits would catch me and kill me like they'd killed my mom. For all I knew, I could have more family that I didn't know about, but my mom was the only one that I knew, the only one that mattered. My breathing was ragged and sharp as I ran. Suddenly I was captured by a big man and I tried to struggle, but he slapped me across the face. Now he-

I woke with a start, sitting straight up. A bead of cold sweat ran down my forehead and I gasped for my breath.

Alex woke as well. "Zoey, you ok?!" he asked worriedly yet drowsily, rubbing his right eye.

:Zoey:

When I realized that I was in the van, I relaxed slightly. "Yeah," I panted. "Just...reliving the past."

Alex nodded slowly. "ah..." he said understandingly. It was only 4:41 at the time, so Alex went back to sleep.

*morning!* Phill woke up first, because of annother nightmare.

:Zoey:

I'd had the same nightmare over and over again. A tear ran down my cheek in my sleep as the past lived on, moving to when they'd chained me to a wall and starved me.

Phill looked back. "hey, you ok Zoey?" he asked.

:Zoey:

I was still asleep. The people were starving me as I was tortured on the wall. They used different machines to track my brain waves- they knew I was different, not normal.

I blinked awake and yawned quietly.
