Grace looked up at Shawn. She studied the boy, and noticed how he kept re-positioning himself. Maybe he was uncomfortable? Grace smiled as she watched him. Once he rubbed his hair, it was the perfect moment. He was, in fact, an angel. If only he could become hers. No matter whats going on, she can only focus on Shawn. Formosa was just another girl, maybe a friend. Could Grace trust her? One of them had to make the move. She could just give Formosa her trust, and maybe Formosa could trust Grace. Maybe, but truely, they werent the best match. Formosa's power was fire, and Grace's was ice.

Grace looked up at Shawn, her mouth slightly open. She pushed her white hair behind her ear, and flicked her long black eyelashes. "You seemed stressed, Can I know what your worries are?" Grace said, staring Shawn in the eye with a smile.

He was careful when lowering his hand and looking over at her. Maybe someone did care, but why would she ask? It was hard for him to image anyone ever wanting to know what bothered him. "Uh, Long story, or short story?" Shawn asked her, stuffing both hands into his pants pockets. That was another thing he detested, the jeans were loose, but the pockets had little to no space.

Pulling his hands from his pockets, he loosely crossed them over his chest, thinking about how he'd answer this soft-haired girl. Even the thought of coming out with the trueth made him want to, though he'd been in this position before and sometimes telling the truth didn't always work out so well. Shawn shifted his weight on his feet, one foot again tapping slightly on the floor. It was a lot for him to think about, but he might as well just tell them.

Shawn made himself stop doing the little foot-tap and met Grace's eyes for the first time. "I guess we can just start with right now. Firstly, the other girl I know, Elizabeth, and I got into a pretty. . .violent fight." He just about ducked his head in embarrassment, but caught himself right before he did. Steeling himself, he started on again. "We never fight, and if we do it rarely lasts but a minute. This was bigger, as in she had to use her powers in order to not get hurt. It doesn't matter about what, not right now," He averted his eyes for a minute, remembering the fight all too well. Then the blue beauts' flicked over to Formosa, then Grace.

Right now, it took all his will power to not wave good bye and walk away. This was the hardest thing for him, sharing personal information about himself. Shawn started talking again, voice soft now, like when you talked to a baby-animal and were afraid to wake it. "The people seperated us, and apparently they decided to take that time to shoot Liz with a dart. I found her when she was just coming in from outside. Things just went down-hill from there," Not to mention that he'd used his powers again, for the second time that day.

"It's the down-side about my power," He held up his cut hand, the blood had stopped and had dried just above his wrist. Perfect. Shawn quickly lowered it, not liking the site of it. "Since the Ice is inside me, it forces its way out. Causes me pain every time." He nodded to the part of the wall not a foot away now, where the frost had been. "I just about passed out from that, just to let you know." He smiled, actually gave this girl a genuine, flirty smile. "Now, get why I'm just the least bit stressed?" Sarcasm. Oh, the wonders sarcasm could do to words. Shawn let the smile drop then, and stared down the hall, eyes a mask of confusion.

Austin darted around the corner as he heard footstpes. He didn't know who it was walking down the hallway but he assumed it was one of the people who worked in the facility. The person walked hard across the tilled floor. His/her steps echoing down the hallway. Whoever it was walked past without noticing him. The footsteps became softer still echoing as the person passed by. He looked out at the person. His vision was a bit fuzzy. He wasn't used to being in the hallway and the bright colors set his ADHD on high. He smiled walking swiftley down the hallway taking in all the unfimilar surroundings. the only places he had been off leash before was his room and the labortory. The door in his room was usually supossed to be locked. He was lucky the scientists thought they had a tighter leash on him than they actually did. They were really leanit and didn't even think of the possibility of rebeleon. He the halls looking over his shoulders ever so often. He knew the camera's were picking up ever move he made ever sense he left his room but as long as a an actual person wasn't following him he felt he was pretty much safe. Ever visible camera he passed he threw up the deuces hoping they could see it.

Licking his lips he brought his hands to his face. He wondered what other people were in this place. He wondered if they were out and about. He didn't really ever see anyone in his wing of the building. He had seen lots of animals though. They always looked terrible as if they were getting worst tests then him. He imagined he was the secound stage of animal testing. The animals then the first human subject thats who he was. He walked a bit faster. He would head to the otherside of the building. There were probably more "human" experiments on that side. He wanted to get out of this place. It stank of death and vomit. Probably because of the animals. He wasn't an animal he didn't deserve to be there with them. Though the animals didn'y deserve these conditions either. He'd come back for them. But first he had to find a way out. He was powerless by himself

Grace listened, also noticing he was a tad impatient. Everyone had their downfalls though. Grace though about all her down falls. She thought she was weak, selfish, and just another pointless person in the world. Grace new she had the power of a beautiful demon, but even with the gift, she couldn't hurt a fly. Once Grace heard about Elizabeth, and the way he talked about her, she knew he wasn't Grace's to begin with. How could she be so stupid?

Grace looked up at him, and stared in his eyes with awe. Formosa had disappeared from Grace's thoughts. Grace looked down at Shawn's hand. "Couldn't you use your power to freeze the wound? Like, use it as a barrier?" Grace had no clue what to do, so it was only a guess. She normally never talked this much, but something about this boy made Grace feel... welcomed. It was like she had nope thing to hide. Shawn reminded Grace of her old crush, they were alike in many ways. Both had great beauty, and they never bragged about it. They were both caring, even to strangers. Grace couldn't let Shawn end up like him, not dead.

Grace studied Shawn, and everything about him. She studied how he moved, spoke, and his emotions. Grace spoke softly "Are you angry with her?" She asked, hoping that it was nope thing but a friendship.

His head was bowed, and he all but refused to look up and meet this girls eyes. He should be mad, should be way past mad by now, but he wasn't. For some reason, it just didn't really come into his plate of emotions much. "No, we're practically blood related for as close as we are, so no, I'm not." Shawn softly shook his head, not even bothering to answer her first question. Moving forward a few steps down the hall, his feet carried him about four yards before he turned sharply on his heels and walked back another eight, then kept turning and walking.

Shawn actually did this a lot, pacing like he was. It kept his emotions in check, and under toe. Plus, it helped him think. "Okay, look, me and Elizabeth aren't technically family, but we treat each other like we are. Nothing more." He glanced at Grace as he passed by her for probably the sixth time already. Mind still in a jumble, he walked a little farther from them this time, breath starting to cloud in front of his face again. Oh, just perfect timing. He turned back around and had an odd look in his blue eyes, which would probably qualify for 'If-Looks-Could-Kill'.

Still walking, Shawn finally came to a stop next to Grace. His eyes were narrowed as he made himself relax and keep calm, trying to flip the switch in his mind from 'Extra thought', to 'low maintenance.' "So," His voice was wavering, as though he was on the edge of some cliff, about to jump. "Would you guys mind walking now?" He nervously looked over at the two girls, awaiting their input.

Grace nodded with a 'Mhm'. She knew he was upset about something. She thought for awhile, thinking about this girl. Family? That means she still has a chance with Shawn. The way he kept walking back and forth made it obvious that something was bothering him. Grace felt her heart pound as Shawn stopped right next to her. It was difficult from keeping her hand back from grabbing his. He was the boy of Grace's dreams, just like her old crush. She's seen many other experiments, in the laboratory and walking by, but never like Shawn.

Is this Liz girl really just family? Or is she the girl for him that he doesn't realize it yet. Whatever is going on between them, its something big. "Shawn, i'm not your best love-advice person" Grace paused, she had actually never dated anyone her entire life. She grew up with a few friends who forgot about her once they had boyfriends. Grace took a deep breath and continued "But, this girl seems important to you. You should go to her, comfort her since she's alone" Grace knew that she would have to give up this chance with him, but she can't be so selfish sometimes.

He blinked, staying silent for a moment. Him? And Elizabeth? The thought made him chuckle and shake his head. There was nothing between them, and never would be. They made that quiet clear a few years ago. Shawn looked back over to Grace, amusement in his voice when he spoke. "There is nothing, Nothing between me and Liz. Even if there was, I wouldn't exactly know where she is though."

Walking forward again, he was impatient to introduce these two to her though. "I'm going to find her though, but I'd like for you guys to come. Grace? Formosa?" Shawn asked the two, turning as he walked, so he was standing side-ways to them. He really did want them all to friends, aspecially to have Liz like these people. She didn't have anybody other then him, and she didn't like, yet she wasn't one to make friends quickly.

Okay, maybe he was avoiding Grace's gaze, keeping his eyes trained on Formosa, or the floor. He had been getting some wierd feelings from that girl, and wasn't sure yet what they were from. It's what he did, paced when nervous or anxious, and tried to ignore certain feelings towards people. After a minute or so, he couldn't stand it and had to look up into her eyes. "Grace, at least meet the girl." Shawn asked softly, sure that if the two met, that they'd become friends. Hit it off, right off the bat.

Rice was running through the forest as fast as he could. The branches whipped past his face, but no living thing seemed to stir around him. He had noticed a long time before that the animals seemed to be more wary of him than of most people, but he didn't mind. It gave him time to think. In only a few minutes he had reached the far end of the forest, near the lab where he had been experimented upon, and he turned, resuming his running in the opposite direction. Not long after he had started, only a few miles away from the lab (about a minute for him) he heard people. Humans, definetly. He thought, stopping and looking around to pinpoint the sound. No animal would dare be this close to him, they wouldn't even try. Besides, he could hear them speaking, though he was unable to make out the words, which meant they had to be humans. As the sounds moved slightly, he pinpointed them, and began walking at a normal person's pace. Though it was quite a bit slower than his usual pace, he didn't want to frighten anyone. He soon reached the people and walked up to one of them, a boy. "Hello, I'm Rice, I haven't seen you around here before, whoare you?" He tried to make himself sound friendly, once again not wanting to frighten them off.
