Luan, sighed, now feeling bad. He clenched his teeth, trying to get everything in his mind straight. This girl, Lyra, had strange dreams too. In the dreams, only ten were chosen as riders. Was she one of them? And there were eight more..the other screaming in the village? Perhaps. "W-wait." Luan called solumnly. "Did, did you want to come with me to Stoney Grove? We are both headed in the same place anyway, and two is better than one right?" he asked, giving a half smile and a shrug.

Lyra turned to Luan, smiled, and said, "Sure! And you're right, 2 is better than 1. So, do you have any idea where this 'Stoney Grove' is? This 'Laurence' person left it out."

{Hey, did you read all of the previous posts? It explains much about the monsters, and that they are coming to kill! I also added an enemy section to the first page.}

"Nope, not a clue." Luan replied with a mischievous grin. He looked to the sky, seeing the flying mosters appear. He also heard screaming in the plains ahead, the running of hooves, and the screeches of the bird-things. "But, I am pretty sure it is that way..." he trailed off, motioning to where all of the chaos was. "They said, many parils are in your way...I suppose this is one of them." Luan said, looking her in the eye. He reached into his back pocket, pulling out two sharp points. Luan secured them onto each end of his staff. Now it was a weapon.

Juniper ran up to Luan "Whats going on?"

Beware, young ones. The Zella await you. Be strong, fight your way through. Use your strengths to get to Stoney Grove. The all to familiar voice entered each of the 'chosen riders' heads. They fear nothing, and only goal is to kill you. Every one of you, and your loved ones. Go! Find the others like yourselves, chosen to be riders. Together, you will be stronger. A terrifying image entered their heads as well, the image of their enemy.

Luan looked wide eyed, the image in his mind so clear and horrific. "That is what we are up aginst! What the hell!" he shouted, looknig around to the other girl. "Did you guys hear that? These winged beasts are here to kill us...so, we have to fight. Right?" Luan asked, looking at his staff. "I saw two others go off in that direction. I think they are riders too. Lets go meet up with them, sound like a plan?"

She woke up again, sitting up straight. She was screaming... Hope clamped her hands over her mouth. She didn't want to sleep. Hope knew she couldnt be caught. The young fourteen year old girl looked around the place she had crashed last night. It was the barn of a farm and the hay was strangely itchy. She stretched with a yawn as she got off her make shift bed. Hope had to leave before she cause a problem, before she was kicked out.

The blonde hair girl grabbed her bag full of all her possesions. She grabbed her belt and put it on quickly. Her hand grazed the hilt of her sword on her left hip. "Hopefully I wont have to use you today," she whispered as she grabbed an apple from her pack and took a bite. "Today," she said to herself staring at the entrance, "I will go to this waterfall."

With those words she left the barn and headed into the village. 'Ten Worthy'. There are ten of people who have been having these dreams then. Hopefully she would meet one of them. Hope grinned. A new friend would be nice. Very nice. With that thought there was a slight skip in her step as she walked down the town road.
