"Why do you look so scared?" Fang asked. "I'm a kid your age, what am I going to do?" He said. "I have to stay, the real world can be hard and not everyone can survive alone." He said.

"Because your going to hurt me." Mia said as she watched him, she only knew other wolves for hurting her. "Just leave me alone." she cried softly.

"I'm not going to hurt you." Fang said. "Wolves aren't all bad, just look at your mom and yourself. I can smell her scent on you, along with a vampires." He commented. "I can't leave you alone. not like everyone else left me alone to fend for myself." He said.

"My mom is my mom." she said as she curled up. "I'm a bad girl." she said as she closed her eyes and covered her face with her tail, scared and upset, she didn't feel any pain anymore, and she barely heard what he said.

Fang watched her curiously. He hadn't seen many wolves before, unless they were chasing and trying to kill him.

Jay followed her scent silently, coming to the alley.

Mia sniffled, "Daddy." she said weakly.

Fang watched her silently.

Jay walked into the alley, ignoring Fang.

Mia looked at him with pained blue eyes, she was shaking with fear and bloodloss.

Jay picked her up and gave a nod of thanks to Fang. Then he headed home silently.

Mia passed out cold in his arms.
