It's a rare, and I'll only trade it for a rare.
Plus they didn't read my rules.

Okay, this is starting to look like it's gonna be a long tale.

It started when I got this trade for my Red Rose dog. Person offered three Uncommon 09 dogs, one from January and two from April. I edited out those dogs and sent it back as a suggestion, saying Uncommon 09's really aren't worth the Red Rose and asking her to offer a Rare 08 if she wanted it.

I get a new trade not long after. She's offering:
2 Common 09s
4 Uncommon 09s
1 Uncommon 08
1 Uncommon Dice Pony
and of course, a Rare 08...

...rat.

Her message?

"ok this is REALLY fair."

Now, normally I send nice cancel messages explaining why I canceled, because most newbies just don't understand how a fair trade is constructed. But her arrogance just rubbed me the wrong way, so I replied with this:

"Okay, this is REALLY not.

There is a Fair Trade thread in the forums for a reason. Use it. And please don't make assertions like that until you do."

Because, yes, I'd rather foist an annoying noob onto the Fair Trade thread than put up with them myself.

I thought it was over at that point. Then I get this in my PM box.

"I GAVE YOU EIGHT OLD UNCOMMENS AND A RARE FROM 08 AND THEY WERE ALL ON YOUR WISHLIST YOU DONT KNOW A FAIR TRADE!"

...uh-huh. Yeah. Really fragging me off now.

So I sent this back:

"Darling, let me explain something to you.

The rat and the horse were not on my wishlist.

Just because something is on my wishlist, does not mean I'm willing to pay ten times it's value for it.

09 Uncommons and Commons don't add to your offer's value, they just make it bigger.

Rats aren't worth crud.

Starting to see why your offer was most certainly not a fair trade? And really. Caps lock spam is just plain annoying."

And just now, while I was trying to type this up, I got another one:

"i offered 8 UCOMMENS ON ur WISHLIST and half of the were 08s so let me explain something to you `hun` that was a fair trade ok, mabey u should try trading with newer people, they might fall for it."

I love how the longer we communicate, the more her grasp of correct English deteriorates.

I also really wish there was a way to block people from PMing you.

I love it when bad traders try to turn it around on people. xD I guess they don't want to hurt their pride?

You're either seriously over-estimating the worth of your pets, or seriously underestimating the worth of my Red Rose. Either way, stop contacting me. I don't care for your harassment, certainly not for your petty temper tantrum. You don't like the way I trade, go find someone else to trade with."

Her: "1. yes 2. since u need help with trading i give u permissin to ask me for tips 3. STOP HARRASING ME! 4. why it was VERY fair and it isnt worth that much"

...my friend wants me to reply by linking her to the Fair Trade thread, as well as anyone and everyone who agrees that it's not fair and wants a chance to rip this noob a new one. I'm sorely tempted to take her up on that offer.

I'm posting her last trade attempt on the Fair Trade thread for responses in a sec; currently, I want to know if I should keep up the convo in the hopes that she'll curse and I can report her. Anyone think I should, y/n?

Do it! XD I was telling someone too, that just because it's on my wishlist, doesn't mean I'll give you something more than it's value to you for it. Someone offered my a Burmese Mountain Dog for my Rainbow Maned. They said

Geh, I'd say save yourself the frustration...there might be no chance of her cursing, and it's not worth it (unless you a vastly more patient than me). Plus she'll just start whining about cyber-bullying if you sic us on her.
I would respond with:

"
Perhaps you can share your expertise with the people over here <insert fair trade thread link>, since any further replies from you will be going into the trash where they belong.
Have a nice day!"

And do just that.
