Stepping out into the clearing, Opal spoke in a stern voice; “Ignore the dog” her voice dripping with venom. “Remember that all wolves are family. Now leave.” Opal wasn’t asking the pair but ordering. The two wolves could tell she was a high rank fae and that she was powerful; not just in looks but in spirit. Opal waited for the wolves to leave before turning to Mati.

“So your owner finally let you off your little leash, eh?”

Mati chuckled "your quite cocky, you know that?" She stepped out from the shadows cast by the trees "And a miserable pup like yourself should show some respect for their elders" She snarled, her sharp fangs gleaming.

Claw and Shredder stepped up beside her, guarding her flanks. They snarled, challenging opal to attack.

((Young adult so I guess in human years 20 or so…))

Opal slowly got into the fighting stance, not wanting to start anything just yet.
“I give respect when I get respect” she told Mati.

“Why do you chase my pack?” Opal asked sincerely, “What have we done to make you hate us so?”

(um not a lot. naiko and nina are fighting, opal went to check it out and sent Luna to find vitani and jadzia. Mati caught up to the wolves and is speaking with opal.)
