My top five are definitely the Raccoon rat-dog, the angel-wing PPS, the Donkey PPS, the frosted window PPS, and the midnight sleepy rat-dog <33

Although my top favorite is...

He's go so much personality and character to him while staying simple.

My most favorite was probably the PPS donkey. I loved it's little scarf <3.

My five favourites from this Advent?
Whoa, that's quite hard. There gonna be some ties ;3

First place was an easy one though, I simply adore PPS
pets and on the day this little angel came out I spend half
the day debatting with myself if I should hoard them. In the
end my need to hoard the Rat-Dogs and the argument that I can't
have that many hoards again after I just got rid of so many old ones
won out, but sometimes I catch myself thinking what if ... ? xD

The second place already brings us to a tie.
You may notice what they have in common and what I absolutely adore:
these white, snowy speckles.

Third place brings you this beauty - I always loved the colour black
and the gray markings on him are breathtaking. I would have chosen
the red one from the Kwanzaa (in my head I just kind of added it into
the advent, since it was around the time) litter, but the three tails always
throw me off. Plus, look at how well his red and green eyes compliment the black <3

This one on the fourth place reminds me of the Green Sorbet. Like with the Sorbet,
at first I didn't like him at all at first. But then I started noticing a few details, like the
beauty of the leaves on his paws and legs and the simple complexity (I just don't have better
words for it xD) of the Swirls on his design.

Well, you can guess that the fifth place was really hard to decide,
so this is actually more of a Top 8 <.<

Oh geez, choosing just 5 pets from the advent is too hard to do. There is even one tie. c:
[I literally spent 30 minutes editing this post because it was so hard to choose. xD]


First place is this guy. I love him so much! I
love his bright eyes and dark body with that scarf. For me he is pure love!


Second place is this lovely fella.
The colors of this Bw are gorgeous. I love how its wings look like crystals.


Third place is a tie.
I love the gentle colors of these two pets and how well they match.


Fourth place was tough.
I had trouble deciding between the two PPS's but in the end the Frosted window pup won. I just adore this pup. c:


Last but not least is this pup.
I love the soft warm colors. Every time I look at this pup I get all warm and cozy on the inside!


These two pets are runner ups.
For some unknown reason I love these guys. D:

Wow, choosing top 5 is not easy. I'll have to go with the frosted window PPS, the candle/Ghost of Christmas Past dog, the black skull rat-dog, the PPS donkey and the green holly dog. Also, that last gift with the toys and stuff was amazing. I especially loved the fox one
I have to say, I enjoyed the Advent Calender so much and the pets and items were all amazing. Every pet and item had something that I thought was simply beautiful. Every artist who worked on those gifts did the best, most wonderful job. For my first Christmas here on CS, it was tonnes of fun and now I desperately want it to be December again soon! I have to say thanks to all of the staff and users of CS for giving everyone a brilliant Christmas!

My tops?
This will be difficult. This Advent has resulted in a new hoard for me, something I don't normally cave under.


So, my top pick has to be this guy. The Christmas Carol is a story I'm very familiar with, and I get out my book specifically every Winter season to relive those memories. I think Selcouth did a wonderful job of embodying that story and bringing it to life in a way that honored the old story. The detail work is fantastic, and gosh, I just love this dog<3


I love this one from that litter as well, but for some of the same and some different reasons. I do love how the artist rendered the interpretation, but what gets me is the foot. In the story the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come has one pale hand that sticks out from his cloak. I literally squealed when I saw what Selcouth had done. That, plus the eyes and expression, really put this dog in second for me. <3


I am a sucker for peppermint, and I adored this dog. The bobbed tail I think is what did it for me. It just seemed to perfect the design and tie it all up so nicely. Thank you for this wonderful pet, Leurai. c:


I loved the realism involved here. The little flakes of snow he's kicking up with his feet, the steamy breath, and the shading really add to the effect for me. Beautiful job Yulynh.


Lastly, this little guy. Now, I thought all of the rat-dogs were wonderful, and I am so thankful for the idea. But this little one took the cake for me. His eyes look sorrowful, and his mouth is turned down. He looks to me as if he is disappointed, or even upset. Leurai did such a great job with him. c:

Thank you so much to all of the artists. This was the best Advent yet, in my opinion, and I want to thank you all for that. <3

As for items, I cannot get over how amazing these horse plushies are. o3o
