It one of my favorite things about the season...though I can't deny that the presents are very enticing...but I love to give just as much as I love to receive. I love showing people that I listen to them, respect their interests, and what to see them extra happy on Christmas. It is such a jovial holiday, which I get to continue a little more tomorrow at my Dad's house. Yay!

Promise, you are accepted! Which historical time periods do you prefer to focus on?
Hmm. Definitely medieval. It's what I've most read about, historically.
Anywho, what is NaNoWriMo? Can anyone explain that please?
Correction, I was a finalist for Bust-A-Rime Poetic competition with a poem about writing o.e So I did get published, but not exactly a book for my own.
I shall begin re-working on my book, 'The Seven Talents' right this second. I always seem to procrastinate when saying so, but today I feel especially inspired, in soe way, to write about it

I'm so happy! My dad just gave me a writer's guide to life in the Victorian era! Maybe now I can finally write that historical fiction novel I've been meaning to write!
...And now I just had an idea for my current novel...yes!!!!!!! Very happy right now, if you can't tell.

Yes, I did, actually...but naturally I'm out of town on the day it can be picked up from the shop. *head slams keyboard* I'll have it by Friday and balance will be restored to the world.
And on a personal note, my sentences are feeling very off today. I apologize if I fall into strange informalities (I don't think that is a word)...I'm in one of those strange moods. I'm feeling very spazzy.

Oh my goodness so many new people ;u;

:D :D :D :D :D :D
I am currently trying to rally up the muse to go in and write the first few chapters of Death's claim, without backtracking to edit or yell at myself for being stupid :c
Am I the only one who can't help rewriting and rewriting and rewriting when I see something that had a very good idea but poor execution? And every iteration gets worse?

No you aren't. I've worked on a single plot line for six years now, and still haven't finished a single draft. - aside from a version I wrote in highschool.. eeesh. - I always rewrite everything, because I keep learning new skills.
To spark a conversation... - Do you guys ever find yourself wanting to write in first person over and over again, even if it's a different story? I have a big problem with that. I don't know why really, I do think that it has a lot to do with me connecting with a certain character, I usually put a lot of myself into my characters that the plot focuses on. I don't know why x.x. They're usually just like me in personality wise, but the exact opposite in the way they look, or what they would do in a situation.
Am I weirdo, or do you do it too?
I do that too, but my characters seem to look like me but with completely different personalities. Its quite weird for me. And I write in first person anyways, I find it easier.

A bad habit I have is basing characters off of me, except more talented and pretty and tragic and whatever.
I tried writing a third person book and I quickly ended up doing I and me again :c

But I have the worst trouble finishing things, and I haven't really finished anything of worth D: I'm just sitting here all sad and such with unfinished manuscripts galore.
... I should probably do Cycles instead of Death's Claim. Or finish Dream Stalker since I'm so close-- This is the only manuscript I've gotten over 70% completion on in the past few years :c
Or I could do Forgotten or Highreacher or Slipped or Pit Fights or ohmahgednessthere'stoomanytolable

Usually when I first begin writing a book I'll find myself switching between first and third person constantly, which forces me to go back and change it to third person. I believe it has to do with the fact that I like being in the main characters mind, I feel like I have more control over emotions and actions if I write in the first person. Unfortunately, I prefer third person highly over the first person because I like having control of all of the characters in the story, or I would write in first person more often.
