I really like how this one came out, I know that the anatomy could be fixed alittle, but im pleased with it the way it is c:
Its fanart of someones fursona that has helped me progress in drawing c:

It's good, and it is easy to recognise whom this represents. As you said, the anatomy can be fixed a little, and that's why I've dug up this hyena tutorial for you. I hope it'll help you when you're drawing one of those again someday. (:
Cheesie, I prefer the shading in the second one. As most also said, it looks more natural.
iBeeWho, that's so cute. It works for a simple animation. Short and sweet. Poor muffin, though, it looks so unhappy.
Spirited Fox, would you like a redline or some anatomy pointers? Also, I don't know which art programme you use, but if you can, work in layers. Use the top layer for the lineart and one beneath it for colour and such, so it won't come out looking sloppy. I recommend saving your images as .PNG to prevent such pixelation too. (:
I do like the colours you used, though!

Spirited Fox wrote:I just finished my first attempt at digital drawing. It's of one of my chracters that I'm working on. It is a wolf, with hair. I know, the most used chracter ever, but I had an urge to do it, and I only had my computer to draw on xD

Good job for your first digital drawing! It can be hard when you start out, especially without a tablet. From what I can see right now is that the bottom of the muzzle is rather square, where it should be smooth, since that's the chin. The other ear shoulden't be facing the same direction as the left ear. And the hair looks rather blocky, perhaps you could do strands until it becomes thick? It will look more realistic. And it's quite pixel-ly, perhaps save as .png? I'll do a redline later. <3

Could you be a bit more specific? What animal do you need facing forward?
Oh, btw, I'll humor you guys with a sketch. It was an old character whom I redrew during a livestream. Ellis helped me by suggesting several things, and now I'm not sure whether to keep her or not. Although I doubt I'll actually use her. Anyway, this is (was) Raven, and I'll be so happy when I find a new, less generic name for her.
I also remember MoonStar asked to see the sketch I was working on during the first part of the stream, so here she is. Xalana, my very old werewolf OC.

I envy your drawing skills X3
I love Xalana, she's beautiful, and Raven's pretty cool too!! That's the first time I've seen a steampunk human X3
I mean, I can't draw animal faces. I can draw them when they're completley sideways, but any attempt to draw anything other then
this ends up looking really bad. I need to be able to draw stuff like
this though, but I can't figure out how on my own DX
Liru~Wow!! He's really cute~!!
