Nieve finally looked at the three adults speaking in private. "W-whats the Hogyoku...?" she asked quietly.

Gin jumped and turned to her, grinning, "Nothing important, snowie~!" "I'll gut Cap'n like tha f**kin' cod fish he is..." Gin thought dangerously

"I-is the Hogyoku the thing he put inside me?" Nieve asked as she sat up, keeping her eyes hidden with her bangs.

"Er...I...well..." Gin frowned and sighed, "Yeah, snowie, it is...but don' worry~! Ya papa will figure out how ta remove it~!"

"I see." Nieve said, slowly getting off the table. She instantly dissapeared with a quick shunpo, hiding in the more deserted places in Las Noches. She had heard a few things of the Hogyoku, and all of them bad.

"N-Nieve...!" Szayel gasped and dropped, the pain finally being too much. Gin frowned and went after Nieve, feeling too protective to leave her alone

Nieve was curled into a small ball on the floor, tears in her eyes as she sniffled. Was she a bad thing now that the Hogyoku was inside her?

Suzume helped Szayel up. "Szayel-sama, you should give me half of our daughters pain, it is too much for you to bear alone."

"I-I'm fine, song bird...I can handle it..." He muttered

Gin found her and knelt next to her, "Hey, snowie..." He cooed, "Don' cry...yer too pretty for rain drops..."

Nieve looked up at Gin before she quickly wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her face into his stomach.

"You are not fine...!" Suzume protested. "You can barely even speak."

"I wouldn't be able to concentrate long enough to go through with the operation anyway, song bird..." He told her hoarsly, "She's in too much pain..."

Gin frowned and held her tight, "Oh, snowie...I hate seein' ya like this..." He pet her hair gently to soothe her
