Sure, this is some of my English Homework. It's called "I really need a new bra".

I really needed a new bra.
Sadly, right now that was the least of my problems.

Being chased down the high street by an angry mob is never fun, and when you’re wearing your favourite dress... Well, let’s just say it’s not great. The mob had already chased me through so many bushes and fields that I had lost count. And the branches had ripped my dress. And my boxers were revealed to the world.

Yeh, you heard right. Boxers. I’m a guy. A tranny. A transvestite. Oh, and I’m gay.

And the people chasing me? They’re my classmates. My friends. Everyone my age in the village. And other villages. Some older guys were there too, but I wasn’t really going to stop and ask if I knew them – who would at this precise moment in time?

I was hated. I was the guy with the abusive parents and who dresses like a girl.

Who knew life could be so bad?

Why do you want to join?
Because it looks awesome here and a couple of friends seem to be here that I haven't talked to properly in a long time.

Ah, thank you. Sadly the story doesn't end too well for him, but it would probably have ended better if I was allowed more than a thousand words on it. There was supposed to be a newspaper article at the end, but I ran out of words.

Still, I was the only one who chose that topic and apparently my story's structure was very good.

Can you give us a sample of your writing?
This was the opening paragraph to a RP I had a while back; it's only part of the post {the entire one was 1500 words}, so that's why it seems so incomplete. Don't flame me; it's old. D:


It was beautiful outside tonight, but the part-time detective couldn't spare a glance at the breathtaking beauty of the moonlight filtering through the many trees outside his dwelling. The room was very large—so large, in fact, that it seemed to take up the whole first floor of the house—but it was used strictly as a workspace. Computer monitors littered the cream walls, along with various reports strewn about coffee tables next to couches and the occasional empty cup of coffee or two that had been forgotten. The house was small, but not so much that it was claustrophobic; it was in a secluded corner of the town that had been avoided for as long as everyone can remember, and he had commissioned the construction of the house, under the impression that it would be secluded enough for him to conduct his cases, and he was right. The area was smack dab in front of a forest, and it was almost eerie at night when the animals came out to make noises and run around. Sherlock could almost never sleep. His gaze was fixated on the screen in front of him, position reminiscent to that of a drunken man. He was splayed lazily across the overstuffed chair, his left hand poised above a bag of potato chips as if ready to pounce upon them, the other resting on a mouse. Dark circles presented themselves under his eyes--he hadn't slept in days. The case before him was much too interesting to be trying to do anything as trivial as sleep. It appeared that there was a serial killer on the loose, somebody that was obviously much better at this game than any of the other petty criminals he had been at odds with before.



Are you currently working on any books?
Well, they're sitting in the back of my notebook and in my files, but I haven't gotten very far on them. I have almost no time in which to sit down and force myself to write, and when I do, it's only a thousand words at a time ;-;

Why do you want to join?
This might actually motivate me enough to get writing. <3

Would have to be either Horror, Adventure, or Sci-Fi. I search for traits that the books aren't sorted by so I look through all the shelves normally c: But seriously, count me out for anything with teenage girls fawning over guys. I really dislike romance when it's the main component of the book. P:

What kind of books do you write?
Horror/Suspense/Psychological :3 Anything where there's fear, honestly.
But I'm really trying to go for a psychological crime drama; it's coming along well, so far.

He thrust both his hands out at them and two walls of compressed dirt sprung up from the ground. There were two thumps as the creatures hit their heads on it.

‘Behind you!’ Crystal shouted into his head.

Scott turned and saw that one was really close to him. He moved his hands out in front of him and pushed out. The creature was sent hurtling backwards by a strong wind and hit a tree. It looked dazed and Scott got a closer look at it. It was very much like a pig in the body shape of it, but the rest of it was totally different. It was a dark brown/black colour. It had no eyes, and no nose. Its mouth had big, sharp teeth.

I finished a book for NaNoWriMo and I need to edit it.
Why do you want to join?
I enjoy writing and I want to be an official Author one day.
