[Addie-Dee]

Ravenpaw's hazel green eyes flickered open, and he looked about without moving his body the slightest. He was facing the wall of the apprentice den, and he listened intently to anything in the pleasantly quiet den. Noise from outside was just faint, and he could scent an apprentice or two within the apprentice den. He silently shifted one paw to the edge of his nest, and could also scent his sister, asleep, in the isolated nest beside his.
Ravenpaw rose, satisfied with the sleeping or relaxing residents of the den, and turned around. There he faced laying or curled up cats(correct me if one is not doing so whilst in the den), and so forth he quietly padded out of his nest. Ravenpaw twitched, shaded light cast down in his direction as he left the selection of unchosen nests that separated him and his sister's from the other nests. He looked back at the comforting, darkness of where their nests resided in the very back of the apprentice den, and then back out towards the den exit/entrance. Standing there, he looked out at the afternoon sky, noting that it wouldn't be long before the pleasant night.

Shadepaw was asleep in her nest, but she also longed for the night in her dreams.

(They have sunsets, right, like, it peeks through a little bit or never at all? And the sky isn't ALWAYS cloudy, is it? Just curious. XD)

(@ My Dashing Sky: Yup, there's sunsets and sunrises and sun...once in awhile. The location of the forest is just in a stormy, damp, dark area, and there's lots of trees so most of the time its pretty gloomy.

TO ALL: I have updated the character list somewhat. I have changed mentors and apprentices around due to the fact that some people have not been on hardly ever, so I wanted only playes who come on more to be mentors. So check it out and if you have any problems with anything, let me know. )


Petalnose.
She pured. "Oh Greyflower, it's perfectly fine." She said, dipping her head at the nursery. "Go on, it's just right over there." She said, poking her nose into the den and pointing in the direction of her nest. I'll go get you some fresh-kill, and in the meantime, you should talk to Skykit. She should be around here somewhere..." Trailing off, the motherly she-cat smiled, then bounded away towards the freshkill.


Skykit.
She had been carefully hidden in the shadows while her mother had entered. Skykit was in no mood to be coddled and washed and fussed over. She could care for herself, thankyouverymuch. Dipping her head, the slender, tiny kit locked her blue eyes on Grayflower. "Hello." Her voice was soft, calm. Nothing like a kit's. In fact, Skykit herself didn't seem like a kit. It was like she was a fully grown adult in the body of a kit.


Crowfur.
He glanced at her, nodding. "Yes, quiet. But....gloomy." he added. It was, with thick clouds, fog, and the dense forest. Although today, he had to admit, had been fairly nicer. With the sun playing through the thic branches, warming some areas of the forest. Although the middle, the deepest darkest part, always lay untouched by the sun's rays.

She nods softly. She wondered why this part of the forest was so calm and peacefully all the time. No disturbances, no wind, nothing. She looked at him, "So what now?" She asked calmly. She still wondered what was coming there way from the wind.

[ Running Free, if you'll have me back, i'd love to come back. I'm sorry for quitting, and i've had time to think about it and it's horrible consequenses from not being around you guys ^^ . I had annoying family over stressing me out, and I made a couple quick decisions that I shouldn't have. I hope you're willing to take me back.. ]

Greyflower
Greyflower jumped as Skykit approached her. She did not remember much of the kit, having been too preoccupied with her own constantly changing fancies. "H-hello," she stammered. "You must be Skykit." She smiled at the young kit warmly. There was something odd about the young she-cat, but Greyflower didn't want to pry. Her kit-hood certainly hasn't been easy, she thought.

Silentpaw
Silentpaw opened her eyes a little bit as she heard Ravenpaw enter the apprentices' den. She sighed, closing her eyes again. He and his sister were too quiet for her liking sometimes. At times, they reminded her of Blackfall and Crowfur, though neither of them was quite as hostile as Blackfall. She settled more comfortably into her nest as thoughts of her clanmates flooded her mind, and she flicked her tail so that it covered her nose.

(Of course you're accepted! I'm just glad you told me you'd be quitting instead of just leaving us hanging. I respect that. But I'll have to add your cats back to the list! :3 )

Crowfur.
He glanced at her, stretching out his slender black figure. "Let's be useful and hunt for awhile." He murmured quietly, sticking his head out ahead of him as he crouched down, scenting for prey. He could smell squirel, as always of course. And birds...mice, and....he sniffed again. Vole! Close by. Grinning, he crouched lower, almost lying on the ground, and started forward, towards the smell. He kept his eyes peeled and his ears forward, strained to listen for any sounds. And there, then her heard it. Nibbling and scuffling. Peering around a fern bush, he could spot two voles! Wriggling slightly, he inched forward some more. Both the voles stood stock still and glanced around...
And then he struck. Leaping into the air with a fiersome yowl, as if chasing after and enemy, he pounced right by the voles, quickly slicing a claw across their tiny, shivering bodies. And the fell to the floor, dead as a doornail. He grinned, digging a hole for them, and then putting them in, covering it up to go back and get later. Sauntering back to Dapplerain, he spoke. "Your turn."


Skykit.
Her eyes seemed to bore holes into the other cat, as she stared without blinking, her face an emotionless mask. She dipped her head when the queen spoke to her, smiling lightly. Though the smile did not reach to her eyes. "Yes, you are correct. Am I right to assume you are Greyflower?" She asked the question, even though she remembered the she-cat quite vividly. She had beenflitting back and forth in her decision to leave the clan or not. Obviously, she had left, but now she was back. Skykit had no opinion on whether or not she should be accepted back into the clan. It was not her problem. That was for Starclan and Morningstar to decide. But the prospect of new kits made her slightly happier. It would be nice not to be the only kit in the nursery.

Greyflower supressed a shudder as Skykit's unnerving blue eyes seemed to look right into her soul. "Well if all goes well you may have some other kits to play with soon," she said, trying to make lighthearted small-talk. Now more than ever she hated her decision to leave the clan. Maybe if she hadn't she wouldn't be so discomforted by Skykit's strange personality.
