Also, I have to share this. In poetry/literature class, we had to write out Edgar Allen Poe's poem, "The Bells"... and I had a little fun...
I wrote:*The rest of the poem*
For the bells, bells, bells, bells--
Bells, bells, bells, bells,
The ringing and chiming of the bells. Bells of Notra Dame!!!!!!

Oh, gosh. I'm sure I'll be getting a good grade for that... I wish I could've seen my teacher's face!

I'm going to have that stuck in my head all day now... "I love those j-i-n-g-l-e bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells, bells of Notre Dame! (or-Chistmas-think-I-forgot-a-bell-or-two)"

And no CoseyLion, honestly I hadn't even heard of it. XP Is it good? What's on it?

Thread's been kind of quiet... has everyone been super busy with Chirstmas and Hanukkah and Kwanza and Solstice and Yuletide, and... whatever else there is..? I know I have!

So... did anyone see the new Disney 'Prep and Landing' show? Wasn't it just great?!

And also, anyone get any cool Disney presents? I got the Disney Treasures 'Oswald the Lucky Rabbit' DVD Collection! Hooray! I am soooo happy Disney got Oswald back and is putting him out there. It's so great! Let's see, I also got 'The Art of Pixar' book, and Disney's True Life Adventures DVD, which isn't animation, but I just can't wait to watch it!! And then I got this book all about 'professional storytelling and storyboarding techniques for live action and animation'. It's not really Disney, but the book makes several references to Disney. (I believe Disney was the first studio to storyboard their entire films before production, but I'm not sure. Haven't gotten that far in the book yet.) I'm just very excited about it, because I like storyboarding, but have never really done much of it, and sometimes I struggle with getting stories to flow properly. So aside from watching all my new DVDs next month, I'll probably be doing a lot of storyboarding. Someday hopefully I'll finally get around to animating some stuff.

Happy various Holidays, everyone!

Yeah, I saw the new PaL, wasn't it great?
Did anyone else notice a mild resemblance between Grace Goodwin and Penny?

I, also, got some Disney-related presents this year. One was Cars 2 Monopoly, yay! I also got Treasure Planet on DVD. :D

Speaking of Treasure Planet... I also got the GBA game on my DS-lite. It varies from the plot a lot, but it's really, really good!
However, I'm stuck at the last level. Apparently, I stink at Solar Surfing on exploding planets...

Yes! I was thinking that Grace and Penny looked a lot alike. Perhaps they reused the same model or something. I loved it! Wayne and Noel were adorable, and Lanny was too funny! "We're getting pizza!" I hope Disney makes more 'Prep and Landing' specials.

Hooray! You got 'Treasure Planet'! Gosh, it took me like forever to find. Santa must have some connections. Or maybe Amazon. :D I should really shop online more often. You got the game too? Awesome! I would love to get the game! Something about Disney games is so just fun! I have the old 'Brother Bear' and 'Lilo and Stitch' gameboy games. I got a lot of Christmas money, so maybe I'll browse online for some other old Disney games, and DVDs and such. How does it vary from the plot? I'm really curious now.

[Howl comes running out of the bathroom, screaming. His hair is now orange]
Howl: Sophie! You, you sabotaged me! Look! Look at what you've done to my hair! Look!

Old Sophie: What a pretty color.
Howl: It's hideous! You completely ruined my magic potions in the bathroom!
Old Sophie: I just organized things, Howl. Nothing's ruined.
Howl: Wrong! Wrong! I specifically ordered you not to get carried away!
[tragically]
Howl: Now I'm repulsive.
[slumps into a chair]

Howl: I can't live like this.
[starts sobbing, head in hands]

Old Sophie: Come on, it's not that bad.
[Howl's hair changes color to purple, then black]
Old Sophie: You should look at it now, its shade is even better.

Howl: [inconsolable] I give up. I see no point in living if I can't be beautiful.

I've actually seen three Pal specials this year... The first one, "Naughty Vs. Nice", and another one where they have to sneak into Santa'a office...

I love Disney games, too. They just do so well on them! I need to get the "Brother Bear" GBA... I loved the PC version, but it crashed my computer  .

The plot on the "Treasure Planet" game varies mainly in that:
(1) Morph is there from the beginning,
(2) Jim gets his origional Solar Surfer back from the robocops {Which takes forever} and takes it with him,
(3) Scroop doesn't show up [Or hasn't so far, anyway...], and
(4) I'm almost to the end, and Silver hasn't shown a single sign of being involved in the mutiny. (In fact, right now as I'm staring at the screen, he seems quite interested in the way Captain Amelia is swishing her coat around... :what: )

 That made me laugh so hard!! I don't know why! Just ha ha!

Huh, I did not see that one about sneaking into Santa's office. Well, maybe next year.

I have the old 'Brother Bear' PC game too, and also the '102 Dalmations' PC game, which even though it's old it's still a lot of fun. With 'Brother Bear', I loved the sliding game. As for the GBA 'Brother Bear', it's really fun. A very good game. You get to go mammoth riding!

I can't believe the game doesn't have Scroop! Does that mean Mr. Arrow's still hanging around? What do you do in the game? Besides solar surf, which sounds like fun.

Hmm... I actually haven't seen Mr. Arrow either... The only characters I've noticed are Jim, Delbert, Amelia, Silver, Morph and B.E.N. (And the RoboCops... And Meltdown...)

The game basically consists of going through the various maps (The Benbow Inn. Montressor mines, iron works, forest, and police station. Cresentia docks, warehouse, and sewers. The RLS Legasy's galley and engine room. An asteriod. Treasure Planet's jungles and caves, etc.) by figuring out how to get through certain areas by pressing buttons, pushing blocks around, finding keys, fighting off aliens that want to kill you, stuff like that. There's also a bunch of spiecial actions that Morph helps you with and stuff.

Wow, I haven't posted here in forever c: Hope everyone's holidays are going well.

I actually got a lot of Disney related gifts for Christmas. I recieved the "Animation" and "Story" books from the recent Archive series put together by John Lasseter, which consists of cleaned up animation drawings and original storyboard drawings; they're really cool! I also got "The Illusion of Life," which is a book strictly talking about the process of Disney 2D animation, which was written by some of the very first Disney animators, who have sadly all passed away now. It truely is an amazing book though; the actual thought process and emotion that goes into Disney animation is astounding. I got this stand-up plaque thing, too, with a quote from Walt Disney that says, "If you can dream it, you can do it."

My favorite gift that I got was my light-box with a rotating disk and a pegbar, used in traditional 2D animation. It is seriously the coolest present I've ever gotten. I've been having so much fun trying to animate stuff on there within the past few days c: I hope that one day I might persue a career in Disney's animation studios/ storyboard.

//Is an animation freak :3

Anyway.

You guys have some Disney PC games? Souns cool ^^ The only animation-related PC game I have is for Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, but that's Dreamworks. Oh well c:
