Echo locked her eyes on Danny, and a flicker of a smile illuminated her face for a moment, then faded, her lips still curled upwards just bearly. "Ouch," Echo said quietly, wrenching her eyes away from Danny. "I mean, I'm sure it's nice and all to not have to be experimented on, but...that's awful," Echo said, slightly breathless. "I didn't know they just threw people away like that," she murmured. Suddenly feeling sort of cold and scared, she extended her wings slightly and curled them around her arms to warm her. The world they lived on was apparently so much darker than Echo thought it already was. Echo looked back at Danny, since he had spoken. "What's your power?" he'd asked. So he could shift and teleport. "I can look into people's pasts. And their future." Echo said, in a whisper that was hardly audible. She didn't actually want anyone to hear, but it felt good. Saying what her power was made her feel more ... well, powerful. It made her feel like she had worth outside of just a lab. "I can travel time, too. At will. But I can't use that power until we're free." she finished. And I've watched myself escape this place. I know that I can leave. I know I can get away. she thought proudly. We're better than those scientists ever will be. They enhanced us, and we're going to use that against them. she continued darkly. Her feathers, soft, shimmery, and delicate, twitched a little as they tried to warm Echo. Sliding off the rock and stepping over to Danny and Gabrielle, she once again pulled her wings back a little so that they were folded neatly against her back; just a small pair of angel wings. Just how the scientists had wanted. Her blue hi-tops were muddy already, and as Echo gazed down at them she realized that she'd be wearing these shoes the day she escaped. She'd be wearing those very shoes the day that she made her way out of this hell, the day that she was finally free. And then maybe she'd... maybe she'd fall in love. I want to be loved. I've never been loved, and once I'm free I'm going to find a way for me to die loved. she thought. I won't die alone and uncared for. Echo's pale hands dangled at her side, her fists clenching slowly. She was promising herself that. She looked at the two of them; the three of them all came from the same lab, all born from machines and chemicals, all unable to ever blend in with the rest of the planet. Everyone else in the world was the same. They were unique.

"Right over here." Cass said kindly, stepping over to the room. It wasn't a long hallway, so there were only about ten steps to get there. She opened the door, double checking that they hadn't installed more micro cameras or listening devises in her absence and finding that things were just as she had left them. Perfect, I will finally have a chance to get out of this place, and someone to come with me. If everything works that is. She left the door open for Kate, and went to her desk, unrolling the sheets of paper she had written her plan on. It was just a beginning, but she had traced the path of the boy on her map to a place a good ways out of the city limits. They would probably have to walk there on their own, but she hoped that Kate would be able to double check the maps. The was only drawing them from what she could see out of her window, she needed to make sure they were accurate.

She had spent long hours making those maps from her window, looking out over the forest. In addition to what she needed, she had seen things moving in the forest. There was a fast thing that moved in that forest, and when it did, nothing would move around it. The patch of unmoving forest would move at an alarming race, and she didn't want to be anywhere near it. None of the animals would move, even the huge predators stayed away from this creature in their forests.

((I can't wait until she finds out that "that creature" is the boy she had been seeing, a.k.a. Lassir Riece. It will be so much fun!))

Kate slowly followed Cass,making sure that no scientists were around.She stopped in the door,looking around one more time before walking in,closing the door behind her carefully.
Looking around in the room she saw no cameras or anything and sighed deeply,putting her hand where her heart was.She suddenly felt save and asked herself why she didn't uninstalled the cameras in her room,too.
'Because you're an idiot' she thought.Jade would have said the same thing.She giggled and walked over to Cass.

Looking over her shoulder she tilted her head as she saw the drawings.She recognised that it was the forest area.She wasn't sure,though,and asked slightly confused.
"Cass?What is that?It looks like...one of these things in building which show you the shortest way out if it starts to burn or somethings"
She curiously looked closer,thinking about how much time Cass had needed to make this map.

Grace laid in her bed, and closed her eyes. She never moved much, which led to her wondering if anyone cared. Grace wore a ragged blue T-shirt and some baggy black sweat pants. She wasnt really in favor of her clothing, but it was whatever she could get. Grace soon felt a great, pounding pain to her head. She felt her head being touched by her hand to somehow stop the pain. After several minutes of the madness, Grace couldnt bear it anymore. She decided that maybe she could get an adult to give her a pill or shot. She lowered her feet to the floor, and lifted herself up from her bed. Soon as her weight came to her feet, she fell to the ground.

Grace gave an aching 'Oww' as pain filled her body. She was weak from low-activeness. Grace grabbed her bed to steady herself up. Once she had gained enough strength to hold herself up, she walked out of her room. Grace walked through the hallways until she realized she had no idea where she was going. She grew up to this place, yet only knew a portion of it. Grace heard some comotion down the hall, and walked toward it filled with curosity. Her white curly hair flew behind her shoulders. She then saw a teenager boy limp the other way. Grace ran after him, saying ''Oh my gosh, are you ok?" grace then saw the blood seeping through his jeans. "How did this happen?" She asked, worried about him

Danniel looked at Echo, half surprised and half scared. Surprised because she had good powers. He could teletransport in the air, he could jump as high as he desired whenever he feel like it, but he probably would never feel the soft, cold breeze around you, caressing every part of your body while you slip between the clouds, or that was what the sensation he imagined he would feel if he could fly. The liberty of going wherever you want to. But that was imposible, he would never enjoy that sensations, even if people thought the word 'imposible' was meaningless. If you can't do something when you've been trying for long, then it's something impossible. Maybe it would be imposible for him to controll his shifting power, or maybe he wasn't trying hard enough to get what he wanted, or maybe that wasn't what he really wanted. He looked at Echo, but this time the wings weren't so important. What was important in that moment were her eyes. He gazed deep into them.

Danny would never recognise it to Echo, but he was scared. Knowing someone's past and future was something very dangerous. You could easily drive someone crazy, because of a horrible death in great pain and suffer. Or you could really hurt somebody, with thing of the past that have been buried long ago. He also had things he didn't want to remember, those memories were abandoned where nightmares were also, deep on his mind, far away from the happy memories he like to remember when he was in the lab, ready to be tested. He looked around the ground, grabbing a little, delicated flower. What he had never experienced was love, maybe because it had been long since he had been alone with a girl. He had never had a date, only crushes on the girls of the nearest cells. But most of them were dead now, and with them, his feelings. What happened to them was the same that was happening right now to Gabrielle, they weren't usefull anymore. But those girls were younger, with a life yet to be enjoyed, but they didn't had what they wanted, and they wanted power. He knew the doctors were looking for a masterpiece, the kid with all the powers ever imagined. But that was not likely to happen in a while, or he hoped so, because if that kid appeared, they wouldn't be needed anymore. "Cool powers, I'd like to fly someday, but out of here" he managed to say, looking back at Echo. His voice was weak because of the thoughts that had filled his head.

Danny and Gabrielle

Echo looked at Danny, realizing that, actually, her power wasn't as great as she was trying to make herself believe. People couldn't keep secrets from her. She'd always know what she wanted to know. And yet... traveling in time? She could stop so many awful things from happening... Echo tensed a bit, locking her eyes on Danny. Maybe he'd love her. Maybe she'd love him. This was one thing she'd let herself wait to see.
She'd always thought about how people outside of the lab would meet and miraculously fall in love. They'd get married, and they'd love each other forever. She wanted to be loved like that. An intense, eternal love. She'd like that.
Echo turned her mind away from that, though. She wasn't about to let herself down. After all, judging by her own life, she didn't have the best of luck and chances were he didn't think much of her anyways. Echo didn't let her gaze falter, though, and she spoke to him. "Yeah, s'pose so." she murmured, pulling her lips in and biting them. She had to forget about him. Echo wasn't going to let herself fall in love so gently and then get sucked into it without knowing wether or not she'd live through the next week.

Gabrielle shrugged her shoulders, yet on the inside, she was surprised at herself. She rarely ever spoke of the scientists rejecting her just like that. It was personal. Gabrielle had always acted superior, yet here she was, acting like the inferior one. It was strange, but somewhat nice for a change. She couldn't help but be envious of Echo; if she worked on her flying enough, she would be able to fly away. Yet they would go looking for her, no doubt. They'd hunt her down like dogs and then torture her, but not enough to kill her. Gabrielle knew their ways. If she somehow found a way out, Gabrielle wondered if they would come looking for her. She could expose their horrible ways to the world, but there was that part of her that didn't want to be looked upon as a freak of nature. Normal people would definitely look at her like that. It was a part of their nature. Humans are and always will be intolerant to people who are different.

During her thinking, Gabrielle had remained very quiet. She hadn't spoken a word, and when she snapped out of her pondering, she looked back and forth between Danny and Echo. She almost wanted to snort. Love. Just the word made her want to cringe. The dark haired girl knew that it would only hold her back. Independence was a huge part of her, and she was willing to savor it. If she ever wanted to make it out of this forsaken place, love would only hold her back. She wouldn't want to leave because the one she loved would be staying back most likely. She rolled her eyes. The two had probably forgotten that she was here. But Gabrielle honestly didn't care. She did enjoy the company of others, and their presence was enough to be considered company. She flipped open her book and started to sketch an outline of a human body.

Danniel was getting uncomfortable in the rock. He was now full of energy, and heeded to walk, to run, to use his power. The rushes of energy that twirled around his body as an invisible electric mist made him feel full of power, free, owner of himself, even if it was only during the time he spent travelling. Maybe she could travel in time, but he could travel between dimensions. He had heard the doctors talking about it while taking the test. That the time he wasn't in one place, but also wasn't in the other, he was travelling interdimensionally. All that was non sense for him, he was only interested in how to use his power...s. He had been dreaming about possibilities of shifting, during the tests or while he was sleep on his cell. Sometimes he was in a kind of strange trance up on the top of his favourite practice tree. There he had the best ideas. He often thought about how he could use his shapeshifting power, and the possibilities of it. He was wondering what could happen if he used his power his another...special person. What if he touched that person and managed to shapeshift correctly? Maybe he would have the others powers. The last time he shapeshifted, not very long ago, that morning, he had shifted into a blonde nurse, and he had shared her last memories, feelings, fears and hopes. He shifted his eyes from the ground to Echo, what would he feel if he shifted into Echo?. "I think your powers are great, and they make you a very powerful and important person, but that you have to learn to use them correctly. Use them to hurt your enemies, because it also can harm your friends" he said, looking at her, smiling only a bit, trying to comfort her. He noticed she was looking at him, and he blushed a little, looking back to the forest. He heard the sound of a pencil against a paper, and looked back at GabrielleN who had remained silent "May I see what are you drawing?" he asked her as respectful as he could. He knew it sometimes could be disrespectful to intrude in others privacy, escecially when it was about the powers of the person.

"It's a map, I drew it myself. From the window, the animals outside helped me too, Let me inside thier minds. The bats are extremely helpful, I've promised them a basket of fruit for their troubles." Cass told Kate. The bats had been the most helpful of all the creatures, they had sound maps of the whole forest all the way down to a single pine needle. Because of their help, the whole thing that would have taken five weeks took her only two. It worked well, translating sound into pictures wasn't as easy as she had thought it would be. It had been fun though, drawing was something she enjoyed. She hadn't left her room in two days, since her last meeting with the bats. She had only just become human enough to speak, and her ears had only changed back to human looking ears this morning. The lab was a loud place when you had bat ears, it didn't just sound different, it looked that way too. When you can't seevery well, the whole place changes to what you hear, and bats have very good hearing.

Personality;
She is a talker, but she doesn't necessarily trust easily. It is hard for her when she gets sick, because the doctors always remind her of her days at the lab and make her hands light up uncontrollably and shake a lot. When someone is nice to her, she is normally nice back, the same for people who are mean to her.
History;
After the lab, she could keep herself warm in the alleys for most of her life by lighting herself up just slightly every night and making beds out of things she found in the alleys. She had no idea where she was, or she would have gone to her family, had she remembered them. She refuses to let herself think of her days inside the lab, because all those memories do is scare her to death.
Phobias;
Fears complete dark, and doctors, because they remind her of the lab.
Diseases;
None really. She still fears the dark, but she doesn't consider that a disease.
Allergies;
Lots of fluff or dander makes her sneeze uncontrollably.
Powers;
She can make light radiate from everywhere on her body, also causing her to burn anything she touches with whatever part of her body is lit up. At the lab she had gotten to a point where she could combine a lot of the light together to make a ball of it that would destroy most any element on the planet. The only downside of her power is that it drains her of energy when she makes the ball of light, and afterwards she normally has to lie down for a few hours just to regain her strength. If she lights up parts of herself in intervals, it takes next to none of her energy, but if she lights up everything at once, it slowly drains her strength, but not as bad as the ball of light does.
