Falon chuckled. "Yeah, gotta think of yourself as the big bad wolf or you could become part of someone's big bad target practice. Namely someone from Silex's pack. Speaking of which, have there been any new reports on them? It's been quiet recently."

She looked down at herself smiling. "Yeah, just a bit." She stood up and shook again, settling her fur. "Much better. Now, onward?" she asked, gesturing to the forest in front of them.

"Wow, nice setup. I like it," she said as she stepped in. "It just has a homey feel."

Silex

Silex smiled. "It's good to hear that." he remarked, following in behind her, "It's not much, but it's home." he said proudly. "And now I'm glad I can share it with you."
He nuzzled Vivian gently, and smiled.

Kasi

Kasi shook her head. "Actually, I haven't seen or heard anything from them." she said, looking out into the distance, "But I don't think it will stay quiet for much longer. It never has." she stated, licking her paw before looking back to Falon, "I think their pack will probably be growing faster than ours though, we're only small still."

Jard

Jard smiled. "Indeed, let's head up and see what trouble we can get ourselves into." he said jokingly, walking to her side.

She smiled, nuzzling him back. This was nice, good. She hoped that it would stay like this forever. "Home isn't where you live. It's where your loved ones are," she told him.

Silex

Silex thought for a brief moment. "That's very true, actually." he said, smiling. "I like that!" he then continued, a bright, melodic tone ringing in his voice.

She smiled. "My mother told me that a long time ago," she told him. " It's one of my best memories."

She locked his ear, then lay down. Her ribs were aching again, sadly. She sighed. "Well, I think my ribs are only bruised, not broken. Thank Tor,"

Silex sighed with relief. "That's good to hear." he said calmly. He then began to gently groom Vivian's pelt for a while, contentedly, before lying down beside her.

She leaned against him, closing her eyes and smiling. This was good.


The dark grey wolf stood on the Ledge outside the camp. Idiot girl! Now it would be harder to kill her, now that that boy was with her constantly. She would have to get her alone........

Silex rested his head on his paws. From the corner of his eye, he watched Vivian. He watched the gentle rhythm of her breathing, her chest moving up and down and he smiled to himself.
