Steven smiled, "Breakfast? I believe I am cooking today," he said, smiling lightly.

Aurora froze when Eli cleared her hair away and zipped the back of her dress up. She expected him to see the scars, but he didn't see anything.

Celeste nodded. "What are we having?" she asked curiously.

Eli did see the scars, but he just didn't say anything. Not yet. He would ask Aurora later, at sometime when she wouldn't get upset with him. He leaned over and kissed her cheek lightly.

Aurora smiled at Eli, ""Where's the mix?"

"What do you want?"

Elli pulled the box of mix from the cupboard. "Here," he said, setting it on the counter.

Celeste shrugged. "I dunno," she said simply.

Steven chuckled, "I suppose bacon and eggs would be fine?"

Aurora took the box and started pouring the things in the large bowl.

"Sure," Celeste agreed, then yawned. It was clear she didn't get much sleep last night. She looked exhausted.

Eli grinned, bettor a pan ready for the pancakes.

((Really? YOU IS DEPRIVED. Loljk. But it's easy.))

Once the batter was ready, Aurora handed it to Eli. She didn't say anything as she cooked.

Steven nodded, "rest for now."

Eli smiled and started to putthe batter ok the pan in circular shapes. He smiled softly.

"But I wanna help," Celeste said, turning to Steven. She didn't want to leave him to make breakfast himself.

"Anything else?"

Steven smiled, standing. "If you insist."

Eli was about to answer Aurora, when he heard a knock. "Flip them when they start to bubble," he told Aurora. He wandered to the door and opened it. There stood his father. Eli blinked curiously. "Oh hello...." Eli said, opening the door for him.

"Yay!" Celeste said brightly, jumping out of bed.
