MoonStar, would you like me to add that tutorial to the front page?
Carrie911, it's very good of you to not fall into the skinny anime guys trap. No offense to anyone that loves these guys, though. (:
I currently have no access to a tablet and cannot redline, but I can give you this. It's a male anatomy tutorial. Personally, I've found it to be extremely useful, and I think it'll explain more than I could with words.
Lonewolf, that is beastly. I adore the shape of the muzzle. <3
The colours are nice too. Grey, black and red is always nice to use.
Kirimi, that's adorable. I love the shiny eyes, they stand out delightfully. The hair looks so odd on it, but I know it's part of the design. You've done a good job. c:
You know what, quick sketches with a big brush are so relaxing to do. It's a nice break from all the late art I've finally been finishing off. There are so many errors on this but I don't give a hoot, it wasn't made to be correct anyway.

Nex-thank you ^-^ I know, the hair looks really odd, I've never done anything like it before and struggles a heap drawing it XD
And I love drawing with big brushes too *o* especially water colour XD
I'm having trouble and stressing a lot. I have another SS to do before the 25th, so 2 days left D: I need to draw a really crazy happy canine, so any pose ideas? XD that aren't too hard :3

Does it look alright? I know the feet look horrible, but I plan on working on that P:
Hi carrie-it looks great for a first try, but there is room for improvement. Your anatomy is good for a first try. I suggest while you are starting out you could look at photos of people in similar positions and you could also search up some of the fantastic anatomy tutorials on DeviantArt. I'm not fantastic with anatomy (which is why I suggested for you to search up some tutorials) but I think the two bulges on either side of the neck are slightly too large, and the neck could be thinned down just the slightest bit at the base. I think the two lines on his chest should be closer together. A mans upper torso is a basic light bulb shape with a fat base, so if you draw that it acts as a guide for the shape of the upper torso. As for the shoes, I suggest you look at some pictures of some shoes to help you.
I hope this helps-remember practice helps you improve and remember if it looks right to you it probably is (the eye is the most accurate measuring tool you have and you know what humans look like so you are all set up to improve
Good luck

i will redline some humans in just a bit. i just want to post this skyrim female orc commission i just finished. i think its like 15-17 dollars, i don't remember how i price things, people just give me money.

I love drawing men and all things manly and gay.
I can't draw animals at all, I just like to look at them and wish I could
I rarely take commissions for anything other than real money, sorry kids
