Silverfur continued sitting alone, watching her silver paws as the moonlight made them shimmer. Finally, she decided to stand, afraid she looked like an old elder without any friends, and spied the small group of cats sitting off to one side. Immediately, she recognized Oakfrost and Rainsong, and trotted over, hoping she'd be accepted.

Goldenshine nodded her head, "Same here." She was relieved to her another set of paws and lifted her head when Silverfur arrived, since she could sense the tension that had started to settle over them when nothing was left to be spoken.

"Hello, whats your name?" Snakestrike asked Silverfur.

"I'm Silverfur," the silver she-cat murmured, locking her eyes with Snakestrike's. "I'm from MoonClan, if you can't smell it." She blinked, pulling her gaze to each of the cats. "Mind if I sit with you all?"

"Nice to meet you silverfur, and of course you can sit with us," He meowed. "Im Snakestrike, and these are my clanmates Sandbreeze and Goldenshine,"

"Hi Silverfur," Oakfrost meowed.

Duststorm looked at the cat that had just came up. Silverfur...That's a pretty name, He thought. He turned his attention back to theconvorsation. "I'm Dustorm"

Silverfur dipped her head respectfully to each, but Goldenshine just snorted.

"You don't have to dip your head to us," the golden she-cat raised an eyebrow, tail-tip twitching with amusement. "We're just like you - and you're probably older than us. Well, at least older than Sandbreeze, Snakestrike, and I."

Silverfur shrugged and sat down beside Goldenshine and Snakestrike, flicking her gaze to Duststorm when he spoke. "Hello, Duststorm," she mewed politely, surprised at how welcoming these cats were.

Snakestrike listened to them talk.

Duststorm looked at the cats sitting around him. He was hoping someone would start a conversation, because he didn't know how. He was hoping that the gathering would start soon.

Goldenshine frowned when nobody spoke, and decided to take initiative, noting the awkward silence they seemed to be creating. "So, Duststorm," she addressed him. "What's NightClan like? How is Dovestar doing as the new leader?"

Silverfur pricked her ears, interested in what his response would be. She'd always wanted to learn about the other Clans, since the only thing she knew was MoonClan and Miststar.

"Fine." Duststorm answered. "It's been a little hard for her, just adjusting to the life of a leader I guess, so all of the other cats in the clan have been trying to help out more."
