Slowly turning back around Crowfrost stammered, "Snowstar, for a long time I've wanted to say that I love you and I think your a wonderful leader and simply amazing. Wow! I never thought i'd be able to say that." with that he ducked his head and miserably sulked out of the camp, too afraid that she would be enraged or even laugh.

Jumper strolled around the forest. The voices were gone and the clan scent was no where to be found. His mom told him what to do when he met a clan cat but he wasn't sure he trusted her. He supposed to act weak and hungry. But wouldn't that make him easy to take into the clan? He didn't want a clan. Caught up in his wanderings, he bumped into Crowfrost. Jumper squealed and decided to play it safe and act weak in a tree instead of on the ground.

Slowly turning, his ears pricked, Crowfrost spoted a shape charging through the woods towards him. "Snowstar?" he asked quizzically. "Is that you? I'm sorry about what i said. I just couldn't help it. I'll leave you alone if you want." Then he noticed a young cat strolling through the forest. Before he caould yowl at the cat that it was his territory, the cat had sprinted up the nearest tree. Turning back to where he had seen the shape, he decided he should check out the stranger first. Strolling over he calmly said, "Hello there and what might you be doing on clan territory?"

Jumper charged up a tree and tried to appear weak and hungry. Which wasn't that hard, seeing he was starving. But he was not weak. He had strong, broad shoulders that he slouched to make them look weak.

"Acting weak doesn't really work. I can see some of your ribs. If you were to join the clan, you could feel the satisfaction of a full belly and have the friendship of others as well as the feeling of pride towards a strong clan. I could take you there if you'd like." he said nonchalantly. "Or, you could leave my territory and never come back." he said in a more menacing tone. he sighed. being mean wasn't his fort-ay and he didn't believe that the young cat believed it one bit. When he heard his voice being called through the woods, he turned ears pricked. "I'm here." he yowled to the cat calling out to him.

"Crowfrost! Crowfrost were'd you go!" She hears him and runs toward him."Crowfro- Ahhhhh!" She slips and tumbles down a hill and into a river.
