((I believe I was posting a few a little on the small side too, quite sorry about that I was a bit tired. I really haven't slept in days, but when I saw this rp I just got so excited because I love the story it was based off of.
Yes, that recap covers practically everything, but certain people have moved around. Alice was fixing up the breakfast while Erika answered the door. Shadow was the guest in mention. Cecily came up introduced herself to Shadow, and Shadow offered to play a game with Cecily which she eagerly accepted to do and practically dragged the poor girl, being Shadow, into the parlor along with Shadow's maid, Jenny I believe, who had accompanied her. Shadow said that Cecily could pick out a game for them to play, and Cecily offered Black Jack. Before they could start playing though, Alice came down stairs, noticed Shadow and Cecily in the parlor and prepared tea for them. Alice was a bit cross at Cecily for not doing her chores but allowed this one game. Shadow asked Alice not to be angry for Cecily was merely just entertaining her while she waited. Cecily told Shadow that Alice had all the right to be cross with her since she should have been doing her chores, but she said her chores were too boring and she'd much rather be playing a game with Shadow, since she was a guest. I logged off after that since we were going a little far ahead and it was pointless to go on without the Duke because then it'd just be small talk for a bunch of pages. I still need to post for Jacob now that i think about it... I'll get right on it, and I hoped this recap also helped as well.))
EDITED:
-James "Jacob" Marshall-
Walking alone on the streets was a man, or what used to be a man. Jacob was just a shell now. He walked to and from work everyday at the same time and at the same pace. He would always buy his breakfast from a local vendor and eat it while he walked. He had become a very dull man now. What he felt that he had been living for is gone now, but he won't give it up. He won't give her up and keep moving. The case was declared lost, but yet he was still combing over every little detail and fact, racking his brain trying to figure it out. It had been little over a year since she had disappeared. Jacob could still remember everything about her. Her warm smile, her loving face, her bold sense of adventure. Jacob missed her so much. It was eight o'clock sharp when Jacob arrived at the station. He took the keys out of his pocket and fumbled with the lock a bit until he finally opened the door and walked in. Jacob was in first like every other morning. He placed his hat and coat on the rack by the door and adjusted his collar. It was a bright day outside but yet it did not help Jacob's ever lasting mood. Jacob then walked over to his desk and began to work. He had to get the usually reports out of the way before he could work on her case. He made that promise when he joined up. Later through the morning, the other early birds of the force started to shuffle through the door. Some tilted their hat to him in greeting, Jacob only looked up and nodded back in reply, if he even noticed them at all. Jacob was one of the newest men in the Scotland Yard, but he was by far the most serious of them all. His work place was littered with notes and cases similar to his missing sweetheart's case. "Here again eh? Working just the same. Yer a young man Jacob, don't ye have a life outside these doors?" A man asked as he walked passed Jacob. Jacob looked up at the man, and at first he didn't reply; he had to think about his answer first. "Well, I used to have one." Jacob replied quietly as he looked back at his work. "Eh lad, we all know about yer missing girl. No matter what they say though, I still hope ye find 'er one day." Jacob looked back at the man, to look for any sign or teasing. But the man looked him back in eyes, dead serious as anyone could be. This made Jacob smile slightly, and the man smiled too, giving Jacob a pat on the shoulder before walking on.
