The Red Shield Is Broken... *Accepting*

Haji had no intention of laying a hand on Solomon. He simply stood there for a moment before speaking. "You knew of Karls intent far before I did, didnt you?" the Chevalier asked, letting his clawed hand fall to his side once the bleeding in his abdomen stopped. Solomon usually stayed away from his humble neighborhood, so he had to have known something was up if he was over here and away from his fancy mansion. "I wish only to know as to why you did nothing to stop him. Though, it doesnt seem as you would be the sort to do so anyway." Haji continued, standing ever so still in the blank moonlight.

Karl continued to lumber away, finally coming to a rest in an alley. He flopped onto the floor, huffing loudly, tongue rolling from his maw.

Erica slumped to the ground next to Karl, tearing a bit of her shirt so she could check for anything worse that a cracked rib. She felt her rib with a wince, but smiled weakly as she felt it wasn't broken. She frowned when she heard the faint sound of someone approaching.

"I had learned of it only a few moments before. I had a feeling Karl was behind all the killings, and he confirmed it with me earlier in the day," Solomon stated and let out a faint sigh. It sorta depressed him. Knowing that his brother was a heartless killer. "Even though I hate what he has become, I don't have the heart to kill him. I'm sure the old Karl is in there somewhere. Behind that sadistic veil in his mind. Plus, there was more than enough fighting going on. Why get involved and make it even bloodier than it already was? If you were down for the count, I would have stepped in and taken your place against Karl. But you held up much better than I had thought."

Haji snorted softly at the last comment. He still thought that he was a big pushover? How wrong he was. "Ive been around longer then you Solomon. Do not think I cant hold my ground." the male replied. "And you make this war even more difficult when you don't step in and prevent things from happening. If Karl doesnt change, then he'll be a Red Shield members leather jacket very soon." Haji remarked, voice still even and smooth. He dipped his head respectfully and turned, walking away. He paused by the little alley way and peered into it, spotting the moonlight reflection in Roxy's eyes. "Itd do you good to stay away from Chevalier fights." he suggested, then continued on.

Karl grunted, then turned his head around to glare in the direction of the footfalls.

Solomon never understood how Haji could keep the same tone of voice, no matter what emotion he felt. He was sure that he was angry with him, yet his voice didn't show it much at all. "I would have intervened if he hadn't gone after you and that Red Shield member first." He rolled his golden eyes at his comment about Karl possibly being killed in the end. "If that happens, then so be it. I just don't want him to die by my hand." He didn't mind aiding in Karl's capture, just as long as killing didn't occur in his sight. Solomon felt like a pouting child at this point, and his face twisting into a scowl didn't help much. The next time Karl, or Erica, did something like that, he'd step in that time, just to prove that he isn't just a lump on a log.

Haji's keen sense of hearing caught the last of Solomon words. He still had much to learn. Haji wasnt really one to hold a grudge, unless he had a very good reason to. Karl was on his permanent hate list, but Solomon wavered. With the queens gone, their was no reason for the blonde man to be so hostile towards him, and Haji could sense that. The tall, elegant man rounded the corner and disappeared from sight for the night.

Roxy blinked as she heard all the names going back and forth, trying to place them with the faces she'd seen. She wondered who the Red Shield was, though her cheeks suddenly turned a bright pink when the taller dark haired man spoke to her before disappearing. Slowly Roxy peered out of her spot only to see the blonde man still standing where he was. She blinked at him before sheepishly ducking back down, trying to pretend that hadn't just happened.


Max slowed down as he neared where Karl and Erica were hiding. He huffed out a breath before quickly rounding a corner and aiming his gun at Karl, still holding his standards of never pointing a gun at a woman.. Even if she was technically a monster. "Karl Fei-Ong and... accomplice. I am having orders from headquarters to either make you our allies or take you in dead or alive." The brute rumbled, his accent mixing in with his threatening words.

Erica rose her arms and stood infront of Karl, her eyes steely. "Niether of those will be happening." she growled as she stood infront of Karl protectively.

Karl rumbled dangerously, his frame shaking his the sound. He was staring into the barrel of a gun right now. He felt weak, too tired to fight off the man. He chittered, struggling to get to his feet without Max firing at him, even though the reaction was sure to be unavoidable. The blue brute felt a weight on his back, seeing Erica move in front of him protectively.

Max snorted, seeing Erica move in front of Karl. He lowered his gun but still kept his finger on the trigger. "Hnn.. I vill not be killing a woman nor vill I strike one but I vill take you into custody if you are still refusing to cooperate." He grumbled, trying to keep a lock on Karl.
