The state of the economy... Overblown or a real problem?

I think that we should have another box released the day after Christmas, just to add more URs and rare pets to the site, so users won't be stuck in a trading rut. : )

I've been quietly following this thread since my first comment, but I must say now that I agree completely with having another chance at adopting the Dec 18 pets.
Even if they have to put a limit-- just until the amount of pets that should have been adopted has been reached-- would be good news for everyone.

The thing about this is we have always had two boxes to adopt
2 Malk and 2 Normal assorted
So not only were the adoption ratios skewed to accommodate for increased adoption, but the actual adoption number was cut back

Well, that's not entirely true. The extra Malk box has only been available once. Except this one year it has always been only one box with the adoption limit of two.

Were there more pets released with fewer players last year then?

And I've heard that the present on the 25th is the last present
So the hypothetical present released on the 26th would just stay to the end of the month?

Which is why I think it would be a good idea to have the box available for a couple of days, to give everyone the opportunity to adopt. Even if the limit is one per person it would help stabilise the flow of URs and VRs which right now is just a little trickle.

absolutely in no way does this announcement indicate another rerelease...but clearly the last Advent present will be available for several days =)

Well I for one didn't want to push the issue so far that it souned like we were complaining. And we have made many point of how is is beneficial to CS, and the only downside anyone has come up with it "the rarities will decrease"... Isn't that a good thing? We want them to be easier to get, don't we?
And to those who keep saying things like "they're just pixels" and "it's just a game"... well, to some people it's more than that, okay?

Yes it is just a game to a lot of people, but if it was just a game, then why would so many people(Including me) spend money on it? There are many people I bet who haven't missed a single day on CS since they joined (like me, but I'm not that oldXD ). To me, Cs is a big part of my life. Lol, I AM OBSESSED WITH CS! So CS isn't "Just a game" to some people. Anyways, I think another box would be great (But who wouldn't want another chance to get VR and URs?), but I highly doubt that we are getting one.
