Lennie, the only thing I can think of is that you're setting your render too high or something. I used to always get memory crashes (I still do, on occassion...but they're less frequent). If you go to video settings, you can see if you're getting the error message for the render. (i.e. if your render distance is set at far, and you have 32-bit java, it'll be warning you that the far setting was designed to run on 64-bit java.) Another memory-saver would be to set your graphics from "fancy" to "fast". \D Other than that, maybe you need to re-download java? Or update?

See the funny thing is I keep installing the 64 bit Java, and setting it to Minecraft yet it doesn't accept it. Ah well, the memory crashes haven't cost me much anyways. ^^;;

Hi new person

I took a break from SMP today to play on a Creative singleplayer world, since I've been neglecting my SP saves (mostly because they're all outdated due to the new map generation. Sob. ;-; I might re-create my favorite in a new map, but I doubt it.)

First hole I look in: Four wolves
I now have 27 wolves. I've officially dubbed this island "The Island of way too many Flipping Wolves"
My screenshot is missing one, since I just picked him up while exploring a ravine. \D




I haven't even gotten to build anything yet. xD Every time I go off to look for a good building spot, I run into more wolves that I then have to take back to the pack gathering spot.

Yeah, all my my maps are outdated. I haven't even played SP since the 1.0.0 update, I've just been on MP the whole time. XD

How do you even walk with 27 wolves following you around? Or do you just leave them at home?

...It's 71 wolves now. ;-; I have two clumps of ~27 wolves in two set locations, and then I have a few smaller packs just posted around torches in the wilderness.

I tried my best to get the second large clump back to the first large clump, but I just kept running into more packs and having to flail and try to sort the whole mess out. xD Whatever I build to house these suckers, it's going to be labor intensive.

lol, I seem to have a ton of wolves (in fact I have tons of everything, especially cows) in my main SP world too (guess what the seed is and I'll give you a virtual cookie~ xD). I've only tamed two of them so far though because I've been too busy focusing on building my home the way I want it. Because of that I've been playing mostly on peaceful so I don't have very many bones right now anyway... I'll get around to taming them all eventually. Maybe I should start working on making a kennel. The two I've tamed already are just hanging out in my study/library right now, lol.

Fact about me and minecraft wolves: Whenever I find one and I have no bones I freak out and turn it to a monster mode if not already and find skeles to kill them. XD. Anyways I also love them so much and when one dies I make it a grave and throw a diamond into it with flowers, iron and bones. Sometimes Gold. Anyways, I have one world that has this many wolves: 95 I got some spawned with single player commands then deleted the mod accidently. I spawned only 20. Lol.
