The Red Shield Is Broken... *Accepting*

Erica's eyes flicked to his hand, seeing Max reach behind himself. In a spilt second she had pulled out a katana like sword, and had it pointed at his throat. "If I were you, I wouldn't point such things at either of us, human." she snarled lowly, a twisted grin on her face as she loomed over the man. A slight breeze blew her large coat back, revealing the second sword that she had on her left hip, which hadnt been drawn yet; and an empty sheath on her right hip.

Karl got up to his feet, seeing Max's movment himself. He smirked, dragging a finger along Ericas katana. "Yes, Im Karl Fei-Ong." the Chevalier replied. He got in close to look at the brutish Russian in front of him. "I take it youre from the Red Shield." Karl drawled, keeping on edge in case Max decided to fire at him anyway. "What brings you out at night, tackling people like bulldozers?"

Erica giggled. "Yep, he's from the Red Shield alright." she said, slowly pressing the tip of the blade against his throat and lifting his head so she could see him better. "You got a name?"

Solomon sighed as he continued to roam around the dark town. He could hear commotion, and was slightly interested in seeing who was causing it. His first guess was Karl and his female accomplice, and he didn't really doubt that it would be them. Using his swift speed, he quickly got onto the roof of a building to get a better view of the streets and alleys below. "Not here." Solomon then leaped toward another building and soon another, until he was looming over Karl, Erica, and another man. He smelled human. "Karl, Karl, Karl... How many times do I have to tell you not to torment the humans? That's no way to make friends," Solomon said with a light smile appearing on his pale face.

Karl perked, hearing Solomon in his ear. The chevalier glanced up, spotting the pristine man on a roof just to the right of him. "Ah, Solomon!" he grinned deviously, ignoring Max for the time being. "Come to watch the show? This Red Shield friend of yours just tackled me... Id say thats deserving of punishment, yes?" Karl chuckled, gesturing towards Max.

Solomon pretended to ponder the question, and rubbed his chin. His golden gaze drifted up to the slightly clouded night sky, but soon rested on Karl again. "No. I don't think he deserves to be punished," he concluded. "If anything, he should continue to pummel you. Maybe one of those times, some sense would be knocked into your head that killing is bad and whatnot. Same goes for your girlfriend there." Solomon shook his head slightly and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Why not just give in to the Red Shield? You're outnumbered. Even though I hate the man, Haji is still around and I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming here to help take you down as well."

"Finally home," Lynn said panting as she closed the door behind her. She peered through the peep hole in the door, and no one seemed to be following her. That's a good sign. Maybe she could sleep in peace tonight. Just the thought of muggers gave her the chills. She placed her umbrella in a tin near the door and started on up the stairs. "Good night little town," she said as she stopped at window on the staircase and peered out.

Karl curled his lip at Solomon and his suggestion. "Join? Hah. Your fantasies are really starting to mess with you brother. The only reason the Red Shield keeps you around is so you can be used as a weapon, just like Haji. Hes not good for anything besides that and they'll shoot him like a lame horse when hes no longer useful." the deranged man hissed. "That fact that you dare threaten me with such is sickening to my stomach. Youd turn on your own brother just for the humans..."

Karl whipped his attention back to Max, stalking over to the bulky man.

[center]Max frowned as he felt the tip of the blade rub against his throat. His eyes narrowed slightly, seeing another Chevalier, though it appeared this one was allied with the Red Shield. "Hnn.." He scowled, seeing Karl stalking back over to him.

Karl rumbled, moving Ericas blade out of the way to get in Max's face. "I see right through all the lies your organization feeds people." he whispered, then cackled darkly. "I know what you guys do to those who arent useful anymore... why you recruit chevaliers. Its all for your own gain, not anyone elses." Karl continued, poking Max's beefy neck with a clawed finger.

Max cocked a brow, hearing the man's insane ramblings. "That is what you are thinking?" He scoffed. "You are mistaken sadly. We simply work to maintain peace between our two races, whether you are willing to cooporate and also join our cause is being completely up to you." He explained, frowning as he was being poked by Karl.
