rapunzel laughed a bit at the two and hopped out of the carriage lightly. she curtsied more gracefully at pepper this time and grinned up at thomas.

Pepper: He raised his eyebrows, bowing to her smiling, then winked at Thomas, "she's a keeper ain't she?"
Thomas: "'Isn't'" He corrects then nods, "We'll walk back, thanks Pep."
Pepper: "No problem Thomas." He got back on and drove the carriage away.

Vincent was hidden in the shadows as always. He stood near the sofa at the far side of the room in plain sight, as a young woman by the name of Ada looked to him. "ah ... Ada ... my favorite little girl ... won't you come so we can dance like we usually do?" he asked, a smile spread warmly across his face.


Ada looked to him for a brief moment, carefully walking over to him. "Vincent ... im worried ... each day i see you ... but i never know how you are able to just popup in places im near ..." she said nervously.

The man chuckled and pulled the girl close, looking into her eyes. "Dear sweet Ada ... you have no need to worry ... i am only around to protect you ... so that harm doesn't come your way. Is it such a crime to care for a beautiful woman such as yourself?" he asked.


The girl froze in place, almost in a trance. "i ... i guess your right ... i was so foolish to think wrongly of you ... please accept my apologies ...."

"ah ... no need for apologies my dear." he chuckled. "now ... you go change into the dress i had sent you a few days ago ... and we shall dance the night away." he smiled. The girl nodded and soon hurried off to her room. "for it will be your last" he murmured softly, soon chuckling lowly to himself.

rapunzel watched as the small carriage drove away and the villagers stop to stare at her.

Thomas; He looked at the people and barked, "what are you staring at? It is not polite to stare! Espically and the Prince's maiden."

the crowd gasped as rapunzel blushed slightly, a young boy stepped forth and handed her a flower with a bow. "uuh...thanks." she stuttered as she boy nodded polightly and his mother attempted to pull him back as the boy's sister gazed up at her as a role model, with gleaming eyes. rapunzel glanced behind her. she didn't deserve this. a drunk young man wobbled forward, leaning on the prince's shoulder and pointing a wobbly finger at rapunzel "lucky, lucky man timothy." he belched, forgetting the prince's name "what a looker."

Thmas: "Thanks Fred," he knew the names of all the people in his kingdom, took awhile but he got it down. "Why don't you go and get a beer to celebrate?" He pulled away from him linking arms with Rapunzel, and started walking,

as rapunzel and thomas stepped from the crowd of people, she caught a glimpse of fred winking and giggled slightly, for she knew not what beer was and thought him very silly. "where are we going?" she whispered.

Thomas: "Very good question. How 'bout we go shopping?"

"shopping?" rapunzel giggled, for she had never gone.all of the sudden rapunzel fell to her knees, letting out a small "ouch!" as a well aimed cobble stone hit her fragile back.


"beware, Thomas!" a small boy screamed as he was dragged into the darkness by an unknown creature. "rapunzel's in danger!" were his last words.
