Kavaii smiled "it was nothing... literally walking home and got jumped by some rabid dog" he said with a smile, gently hugging her aswell

Kat narrowed her eyes slightly in confusion and pulled back. "A rabid dog turned you into this?" She tilted her head curiously. She looked at him slightly, trying to understand.

"its real confusing... some people have weird genes inside them, and im one of them, the genes usually sleep inside me, but the rabies triggered it" Kavaii said as he smiled at her

Kat nodded, not really wanting to ask what else was on her mind. She bit her lip and whispered, "Why did you two come to my house tonight?"

"i have no idea why dean did... i was walking home and saw him scaring you or whatever he was doing and decided to intervene" Kavaii said with a wide smile

Kat looked down. "Scaring me only because that's how it happened when I got this," she held her side slightly where it was bitten. "I was going to go inside when a wolf came out of the woods and started to rip at me. The scars on my arms healed and I caught a wicked fever." She gently took his hand. "Thank you."

Kavaii shuddered slightly "oh god...im so sorry... is that why that guy, shot me? he obviously knew you somehow" he said softly as he tilted his head and smiled

Kat picked up a bit of grass and whispered, "He's my brother. He had found me on the porch, bleeding out and had to carry me to the hospital. Our parents had died earlier. And I never blamed the wolf for biting me. I couldn't. But Kane..." She looked down. "Kane took an oath to kill wolves. For my sake. I hated him for it."

"oh right i see... well, thankyou for not letting him kill me earlier" Kavaii said softly as he smiled at her, his amber eyes glistening brightly
