Miststar climbed up onto the Moon Rock. "MoonClan! It is time for the gathering. I am bringing Heatwave,
Whitefeather, Silverfur, Rainsong, Oakfrost, Willowpaw, Milkpaw, Riverfrost, and Silverpaw. Frostbite and Duskpelt will remain in camp to guard it. Are you all ready?" The proud leader stood under the moon, her silver pelt dazzling under the moonlight. Her intelligent blue eyes sparkled as she looked at each and every one of her clan mates.
Redcloud trotted over to Brightstar's den. "Brightstar? Are you ready for the gathering?" The calico deputy waited patiently for her leader to emerge. She was eager to get going. She was lonely now a days. No one ever talked to her, and even though she was deputy, she felt useless, uneeded. She hadn't had an apprentice in moons, and although the she-cat was only 28 moons old, she couldn't help but feel.....old. It was the weirdest feeling, it was just that she used to be so bright-spirited, but she couldn't help feeling down, but who could blame her, with what a lonely life she had. She missed excitement, she missed her old life.
Shadowfire trotted over to Dovestar. The senior warrior, at 34 moons, looked at his leader. It was weird, looking at Dovestar, who was only two moons younger then himself, have the position that he had always dreamed of. He remembered how he had grown up with the silver she-cat, known her since she was a kit, an apprentice, a warrior. Yet when was the last time he had talked to her? When was the last time he hunted with her? They had trained with each other, they had became warriors side-by-side, and although her knowledge and power was increased now, he saw no reason why they couldn't still be friends. He knew that if he was in her paws, he would want to be treated normally. With a higher respect, maybe, but still normal. He cleared his throat. "Dovestar, I've been thinking...." The black and white warrior began "When was the last time we did something together? We grew up together, but I don't think we've done anything together since we were new warriors. Do you want to find something to do after the gathering?" He asked, his bright green eyes carefully watching her face. The tom was afraid he was overstepping his bounderies, but he had to try, right?
Iceflower sighed. The cat had returned to NightClan territory. It would be just like them, to take in a rouge! The beautiful white she-cat trotted back to StormClan camp, and there she sat boredly, grooming herself.
Sandbreeze nodded to Goldenshine's apprentice. "Lead the way" He said, swishing his golden tail. The sun had set, and training was out of the question now. Soon the cats would be leaving for the gathering, and he was excited for the other clans to know that he had gotton his first apprentice. He loved the gatherings, socializing with cats that on a regular day were his enemies. As he saw it, they were all living the same life, fighting for the same things. Although he loved the excitement and pride of battle, he sometimes wished that could all just get along.
Blacksky sat boredly in the Stormclan camp. They would be leaving for the gathering soon, and although he would certainly attend, he couldn't stop the idea that was churning in the back of his head. He walked calmly over to the where his leader stood, waiting for the clan to gather. His black pelt was camoflauged in the lead-fall darkness. He had served his clan for 33 moons so far. Retiring? No, that was the last thing on his mind. "Ironstar?" He said
Rainsong sighed as she entered the camp. She sat down, just to stand up again as Miststar announced who was going to the gathering. She waited for Miststar to lead the way out of camp.
Sunpaw waited patiently as Ironstar addressed the clan. What was going on?
