Song:. And that's why I smile. It's been a while Since everyday and everything has felt this right And now You turn it all around And suddenly you're all I need The reason why, I smile. Smile - Avril Lavigne
I have decided that I no longer want to be on Chicken Smoothie. I have become too infatuated with the site. No, I am not giving away free pets; they will all go to the Pound or to good CS friends of mine. Bye, CS! ~Fallen Angel~
He's like fire...and ice...and rage. He's like the moon and the heart of the Sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns in the centre of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And...he's wonderful.
{ Ikaa, that was amazing. I can't wait to read more. <3 }
Rain { m } && Benny { m }
"Thank you," Rain said quickly. "For everything." Benny nodded, standing tall. As he examined the buck before him, all bad memories seemed to be flushed away. No longer was Benny the grumpy old horse that he was before. No longer had he grazed alone or awoken with nightmares. He had raised this fine deer himself. "I'll never let the hunters get you," he had said when the fawn had first met him. "You will survive, for your family. I promise." His old bones shook as he held his head high; it was no use, though. Rain's antlers were much too tall and large to match. The old man laughed. He had done it often with Rain in his life. "I'm gonna miss you, boy." Rain smiled. "I'll never forget you." "Nor I will you." The embrace they shared after that brought Benny back to the first meeting again.
I'll never let the hunters get you. You'll survive, for your family.
No words were spoken as the buck turned and left the man that had raised him. He pranced through the tall grass, leaping up high then disappearing, only to reappear moments later. Benny's tear of hope had only just hit the ground when a crash rang through the air. Birds cried and flew away. Rain did not reappear over the tall grass. "Rain?" he cried. "Rain? Rain, can you hear me?" But all was silent. It was not until minutes passed that Rain was spotted, slowly stalking his was back to Benny, low to the ground. The horse gasped. "Rain! You're okay!" Rain began to run as fast as his legs would take him. "Yes, Benny. I am—"

"You are what, Rain?" Benny asked in a hoarse voice. He packed down the last bit of dirt with his weak old hoof. "You are great. You are kind." Sniff. "You are generous, and caring." Tears fall. "You are loved by all." Benny was holding a back a sob now. "You are the greatest thing that's ever happened to me." He could choke it back no longer; he wailed and sobbed, hardly able to see through the tears in his eyes. His chest began to heave and he began to trace a heart in the dirt, but his hoof shook so badly that it came out a disformed triangle. Benny's chest and throat ached, and his legs gave out. He couldn't breath any longer; they were only desperate gasps of pain. His head spun and he fell on his side. "I k-killed them, Rain," he moaned. "They're gone now. I w-won't let them g-get you," he choked, shaking violently. "I— I—" But Benny never finished.
It's 5 o'clock in the morning Conversation got boring You said you're going to bed soon So I snuck off to your bedroom And I thought I'd just wait there Until I heard you come up the stairs And I pretended I was sleeping And I was hoping you would creep in
