Try this pose, I use it for animals I'm not the best at and it seems to work for big cats and wolves well.

Gah, her anatomy-- especially the paws-- is pretty whack, lol. I also think that there's too strange of a flow between her body and legs-- thoughts?

She's my OC, Storm Cloud, a Royal wolf within my story.
And for some info on what the hell a Royal is, lol, there's brief description concerning in my DA upload of this pic:

Thankyou <3

@Susiron; I like it so far, but straight away I notice that the front left paw is flat and looks, sort of broken. Do you get what I mean?

@Fat Unicorn - I really like that! It is so unique, but it's not too abnormal? I don't really think that you could improve too much on that. Maybe have the shading above the eye not so deep and dense? But other than that i really like it :3

@Susiron - I like it, but it seems that the legs are awkward. I can't really explain it other than it looks like the legs are just bend wrong. I don't know, but thats what i think. The paws also look flat (as bubblesh said) especially against the back paws. The legs also (especially back far) seem way to skinny, as if they couldn't hold the wolf up.

@Bubblesh. - I'll see if i can redline for you sometime soon :3

Alrighty now for me >:D

This is my equid Sastella, her species is Wild Mountain Equid, they are by horsy1050. Basically i'd like crit on the background. I've been trying my hardest at 'realistic' backgrounds, but i can never get grass right, so don't worry about that. I would really like some crit on the wall and water. The rocks are pretty good for me. If you have any crit against sastella herself, please feel free to shoot :)

Susiron:
Red-lining, if you don't mind~
The right legs where a little out of balance when compared to it's partner, specifically the back pair. The back-left paw was fine but the lines a little shakey and I did try to fix up the front ones. Try maybe drawing slanted ovals/other kind of shape to help you define and draw the digits better? Since it looked like you were using a rectangle or something and just filled out that. Also, the tail seemed a tad too high, but that's personal preference.
I adore the head and body and fur, so sexy. eue

Bubblesh.:
Cat Red-lining~
Bewarned; I bet the ears I drew are more incorrect. |D; The muzzle was originally too long and cats don't have a lot of fur on the tops of their heads. When drawing cat muzzles, draw two circles next to each other and one small one at the bottom of the two, and not too far from the face too. Cat eyes are slanted and their faces are more smaller and fine.
Horse Red-lining~
I don't draw horses often, buuut~ You didn't appear to have drawn the top part of its head and also the eyes are large and round with fairly long eye-lashes. They are also fairly muscular animals with short fur (most of the time), so it's best to define those features.

Oddly Shaded:
Eee, knocked me down a post~
You don't seem to define the shadows that are actually caused by the objects in the image. There should be more shadows on the Equid as well as the ground under it. The boulders would probably have grass in front of them, as well as moss and other vegetation growing on them due to the water. Since there is a waterfall/water source there, you would expect some insects to be around, no? Since there are a lot of grass blades in the grass, you should try to shade and highlight it more instead of just leaving a few blotches of green surrounding. The horse needs to have more defining edges as well as the seperate parts of the body have different shading styles. The hooves would have smooth shading, while the fur would have stubby and brisk shading, and a fair bit of it, the hair would be similar to the fur, but flowing more and longer, as well as highlights. /hope that helps =3=

Thankyou so much LCD for the redlines <3

But, I noticed on the horse redline that the face becomes too thin, and there is no lower lip. Horses have a triangular shape on their bottom lip like in this picture;
Image
And I also don't understand when you say that I didn't draw top part of its head. Because I did..would you mind explaining please?

Thankyou c:

Thanks Oddly. ^^;;
I'll look at the horse pieces above later this morning, because midnight is not the best time to draw at the moment. :'D
Let alone redline or crit.

Finished the Butterfly Horse piece, didn't do much, though. P:
