Gilbert lay, curled tightly, on the old mattress he slept on. dark silhouette's of people walking past, were stretched and morphed on the brick walls of the alley, casting large shadows that scared the young Neko. He shivered and quaked as he watched the dark figures glare at him as they walked on by, living their lives with no true worry in the world, while he lived in fear and agony. Every night he would gaze up to the sky, and hope that one day soon, he would be adopted by a kind family, or maybe just killed to end his misery. He wished he had a friend, but only had a fish skeleton to keep him company, in which he almost choked on several times when he was starving.

MOki yawned as she woke up. She sat up and streched " Another day!"

Ayumu got up. " What a pain another lonely day." He tried looking on the bright side " Maby I'll make a friend."

Her one eye flopped down and her tail twirling. She was walking out with her P.J's on and kept walking. To every human that walked pass, she paied their respect's and bowed. The air was filled with gas and nasty things. Her eyes got locked to a boy laying on a old mattress. With a gasp she ran towards the boy and gave a warm smile. "Hello.. I'm Miyuki." her hand was out as she smiled again.

Ayumu wondered around town until he saw a girl Neko taalking to a boy on a mattress. to himself he mumbled " Maby I can make some friends." He walked ovr with his hands in his pockets. " Hello."

Getting up with a bump on his forehead. He hissed and dragged himself towards Moki's room. "Morning Moki-chan" His voice cracked and sat down on the mattress beside her.

Hearing a gentle voice behind her she turned around with a smile on her face. Standing up she greeted her self. "Konichiwa, I'm Miyuki" Her tail twirling as she bent down to look at the boy on the mattress.

Smiling sweelty at the Boy, She looked back at the boy laying. "Hey.." She touched him with her hands. A shock shocked her.

The boy let out a small scared scream and put his hands on his head, curling up tightly into a position called 'the armadillo', quickly shaking again. "p-p-please ... d-don't hurt me ..." He whimpered, tears streaming down his already pale and tear stained face. His tail was curled tightly around his leg as his ears went flat on his head, making him look almost normal. His voice was weak and cracked in places from thirst and hunger, since he had been living on the street's for about a year now. He had scars on his arms, legs and torso, along with his back from all the beatings he took daily, but hid them under his clothes. He had cuts on his face from scratching at itchy spot due to not being able to wash often, and only when the rain came or when he would go to the lake, which was a 2 day trip for him considering his condition. The boy's clothes had a few torn places and scratches in it. Gilbert was scared of everyone ever since he was put on the streets.
