Vento continued on howling, his howl was lonely and heartbreaking like his howl was telling a sad story

Laika heard Vento howling,but she was trapped inside the cat adoption room.She put Snowy down,and hid her in the corner,under a table.She tried to think of some way to get out of that room.

Vento stopped howling and sighed softly, he whimpered and pawed at the padlock that sealed his cage. He whimpered louder wanting to get out

Kidd barked and barked wondering where Laika had gone, "Why you leave me alone?!!?" he yelled barking louder and running back and forth along the cage door.

Laika continued thinking. "What should I do" she asked herself.She looked around,for an open window,or another door."Snowy.stay where you are until,I know what I'm doing" she called over her shoulder.
