Dovestar's gaze lingered at the camp entrance, tinged with irritation. I never exactly responded to the question before you all left...and who said that the loner was accepted? She let out a long sigh, closing her blue eyes. The ice in them had seemed to melt, and now she was just weary. Being leader encompassed so much responsibility, more than she thought she could handle. Why did Ravenstar ever have to choose her as deputy? Suddenly, she was reminded of the incident with MistClan, and felt a pit form in her stomach. Why did she have to be so alone in this? Where was Ivyclaw? What happened to her deputy? It felt as though Dovestar herself had to take care of every little issue within the Clan, and she just wished the others would recognize her as "Doveleaf" again. It's too late for that, now, she thought, pacing towards the fresh-kill pile. Ravenstar's gone, and she trusted me to follow in her pawsteps. I can't let the Clan down just because I'm doubting my ability. No matter how many times the young gray she-cat told herself this, she couldn't help but to feel hopeless.

"So, what was your name again?" Mintdrop asked the loner. She fell step in step with Duststorm. Her pretty sea green eyes' flickered from him to the loner. She held her tail lightly in the air, as her slim body moved forward with ease.

Duststorm padded in the back, letting the two females go int the front.

"I forgot to tell you, but if you see any prey, kill it, bury it, and on the way back, we'll get it and take it back to camp." Duststorm said, mainly talking to Starsong.
