Kar nodded, taking one more small bite. He chewed it for a while, then turned back to his dad. "What can we play then?" he asked eagerly.

Skit finished too and nodded eagerly.

Luke got up and headed for the opening, "I's not a game, but it's something to play with." He stuck his paw out and scooped up a pawful of snow and put it on the ground and got a few more. "There."

Skit ran over and sniffed it. He then touched it, "It's COLD!!"

Kar ran and tackled it, not realising how cold it would be. He flew straight through the pile and and exploded out of the other side, shivering. "Y-y-you could have s-said that sooner, S-S-Skit!" he stuttered.

Skit fell over laughing. He then got up and jumped in and was covered and not seen. He then stick his head up.

Kar shook the snow from his pelt as he felt it melting. "Eww..." he moaned, "It went all weird, like water!"

Flavia watched the two pups messing about with the snow. She smiled before turning to Faith. "Faith?" she said, gently, "would you like to play with the snow too?"

Faith nodded and stood up wobbly, because she had never stood before.\

Skit scooped some and threw it at Kar, and hit him in the face.

Flavia smiled and stood with Faith. When she saw her wobble slightly, she pressed her nose against her shoulder to steady her.

Kar looked down at the water on his coat and shook it off vigorously. When he looked back up he was unexpectedly hit in the face by Skit's snow. He fell backwards and wiped the cold water from his eyes, giving a playful growl.

Faith sat again deciding not to go over.

Skit growled back and threw another one.

Flavia tipped her head slightly. "Changed your mind?" she asked tenderly, licking Faith. "We can always ask your dad if he could bring some over here for you, if you don't want to go over there." she suggested, seeing Kar and Skit throwing the snow around.

Kar leapt up and ran towards the pile of snow, as more hit his shoulder. He scooped some up and hurled it across at Skit.

Skit got hit and threw more and yipped happily.

Luke stood up and went and got more snow for Skit and Kar and then got a small paw full and gave it to Faith.

Faith looked at it curiously.
