[Blu Malinois]

"Don't be sad Jessica." Jey whined and sat up, suddenly yanking her into his lap with ease.

Ryn laughed happily. "Hey! You're going to make me dizzy Klaus!" She complained jokingly. Ryn didn't actually care, it was fun being with him so it didn't matter to her whether she got dizzy or not. She suddenly had herself stop and shoved klaus over to the tree. "Look! We decorated it while you were gone. I got to put the star on the top!"

Jessica squealed slightly but nuzzled close to him. She smiled softly up at him.

Klaus looked at the tree and smiled softly. He rested his head on her shoulder and wrapped his arms around her waist. "It looks almost as beautiful as you."

Jey rolled his eyes and chuckled softly. "Sheesh Jessica, what was that squeal?" He teased and held her close gently.

Ryn blushed lightly. "T-Thanks...." She mumbled with a smile as she studied the tree. It was nice and tall, with the star on top it almost touched the ceiling, and colored lights were wrapped around it, pretty ornaments hanging on the branches too. "This is going to be a good Christmas....I just know it, now that you're home."

Jessica rolled her eyes softly as she kissed his cheek. "Don't be mean..."

Klaus smiled a bit as he looked at her. "Yeah...and hey...I have a present for you too but you can't see it until tomorrow."

"I'm not being mean, just pointing it out, that's all." Jey lied jokingly and kissed the top of her head.

"You didn't have to get me anything Klaus." Ryn murmured. "You being back in time for the holiday is a present enough for me."

Jessica smiled lightly at him as she rolled her eyes a bit. "Oh hush..."

Klaus smiled softly at her and kissed her cheek. "But I wanted to."

[Blu Malinois]

"Nah, I don't feel like hushing." Jey chuckled and stood, picking Jessica up. "You're coming wih me to the store." He added with a smile and left the house with her, not going to give her any choice.

Ryn smiled warmly and hugged him. "I love you Klaus, a lot." She murmured. While he was gone she had realized how much he really meant to her. "I tried not to steal anything while you were away too....and I did well....e-except for one time..."

Jessica rolled her eyes as she giggled and happily followed after him despite her being pretty much dragged.

Klaus smiled at her as he spoke with a warm tone. "I love you too." He then heard what else she said but he looked at her with a proud expression. "I am proud of you love...you are getting better already....what did you get?"

"Don't get lost little girl." Jey joked happily as he dragged Jessica over to the grocery store.

"Umm...it was sweet bread...again." Ryn mumbled, a bit surprised that he wasn't mad at her, but sounded rather proud. "I couldn't ask your parents for it...they were busy with Christmas stuff so I kind of..you know, just took it."

Jessica rolled her eyes a bit as she looked at him. "Stranger danger..."

Klaus smiled softly at her. "It is okay sweety...as long as you try not to steal again it will be fine."
