I have seem some people posting that it's NOT a scam, but let's face it. People are taking dvantage of newer members, even if they don't outright LIE about their pet's rarity, offering them anything less than the pet's true value and BLINDLY letting them accept without the proper knowledge is WORSE.
I honestly don't want to start an argument... But trading members that don't exactly know what their pet is worth is
not scamming them. The information on rarity is all over this site for them to find. As long as both players are happy with the trade, than nothing wrong is being done. I have given players their "dreamie" for a higher end rare before and the trade might not have been what the CS community deems a "fair" trade but both people were happy in the end.
Now, if you are blatantly going around telling the new players that their pets are going to be common and you will give them rares for it to be nice or something, that is scamming and is certainly wrong.

Scamming is when you lie to someone that some newborn will be uncommon but really it will be very rare. You don't scam with just sending unfair trades to newbies. There are topics like 'is this fair trade?', so they can use it right? Also wishlist doesn't bite, there are written rarities.
All the newbies cannot even use a wishlist or find those threads :/
This "SCAMMING" or "ninja trading" is unfair to these newbies
and other members on the site.
Personally, I would never do that and I don't really understand those people who do so, I'm just too kind person. People try just drive their own advantage, no matter what. Is it so hard to tell the newbies that the trade is UNFAIR to them? They'll find out sooner or later and they won't feel really good.
And I'm pretty sure most of the newbies would value rarity over the personal favourite designs, especially when they don't have many rare pets. If they just knew.

I'm not saying that it's good, I'm just explaining. C: personally I don't do something like that too. Well, to be honest, I sometimes base my trades on my opinion about pet, for example I won't trade my BE Galaxy for any OMG, because I just like him too much. |D but, hey, there is forum for introductions and there are tips for newbies, rules and many more things that obviously will be helpful.
Spotty is one big help herself they just have to read it.
btw, one person was trying to ninja-trade me. XD good luck, I'm on this site since 2008.

My friend is the luckiest duck XD he just started and he recieved the 08 blue balloon dog and this PPS malk horse (both are on his wishlist because he loves any and all things blue) Haha XD
As for the scamming, I warned him about that. =\ It's a pity people do that to newbies, or anyone in general.
Then fly away from here
Anywhere, I don't care
We'll just fly away from here
Our hopes and dreams are out there somewhere
SockyTM is my sister D: Don't punish us for trading or using the same comp please >.<

This is not the place to discuss this... this is the Dec. 18th discussion now the "ninjaing" topic.
There are many resources for newbies to read, and understand when they come here, but they don't always read them, as Cholera said. There is nothing against the rules about ninja-trading, but if someone is blatantly telling you your pet it worth less, that is scamming and not allowed.
Please stop the discussion on scamming/ninja-ing and talk about the re-release.
