Walking Along Thin Ice
We're up the creek without a paddle, and there's no turning back, now.
You've always heard of someone talking about walking on thin ice. Metaphorically, of course. Yet, "Walking on thin ice" isn't a metaphor for a few kids and teens. Instead, it's real.
Just imagine yourself, walking along, minding your own business. Just a kid, somewhere between the age of ten and eighteen. It's about... Mm... Say, nine o'clock. Late. You were walking home with some friends, took a wrong turn, blah blah blah. Then, someone jumps out in front of you. Then they actually jump you. The next thing you know, you're half asleep, and these guys have you...
When you wake up, it's extremely cold. You're in a cage, but it has a lot of bedding and stuff you would normally see at a Zoo. Then, you stretch and attempt to walk on two legs, but you flop onto your belly. You don't feel anything but fur beneath you. Wait... Fur, unable to walk on two legs... You've been turned into a very large tiger! By morning's light, you've turned back... You're a Weretiger, or a wereanimal...
Otherwise, you would have woken up as a rabbit, and then you turned into an eagle, then back into a human... Heh.
Or you could have woken up realizing you could control water, in a more human-like environment. Still pretty spooky, even though you haven't been turned into some animal...
The lab workers explain it to you well. You were attacked by a team of scientists who do illegal genetic work. You've been turned into a Wereanimal, Shape-shifter, or an "Elemental", otherwise known as a human with power over an element. You've been taken to a small research center in Alaska known as Area Element. It's known for a very powerful aura from an Ice Cave. However, the person who found it wasn't able to do any research. They nearly froze to death due to a power that protects it.
But those researchers are very certain it can't affect you, because that power was what was used to mutate you. They say there's a legend that states that a long time ago, humans that lived near this area gave up their powers because of the demand of the pelts said to bring good luck, wealth, and magical powers to the wearer. Perhaps if you find this gem, you can be turned back into the human you once were.
You were well liked, and they asked you to do something. Go to a new Research Center by yourselves to research the area and bring back that research so they can better understand the area. You have as long as you'd like to stay. Of course, they didn't say you could sidetrack a bit along the way...

And that is why you're here. You have one day to prepare at Area Element, and then you move onto the other area. The best part? You guys get to decide on the name. You can do anything your heart desires- as long as you do some research, that is. Go ahead, find an ice cave to use as your own personal slide, find a Fox cub to make your pet while you're here, or dig a hole to China, you can do whatever your heart desires. No rules, no laws, no restrictions- except you can destroy the place or go too far from the new area... Other than that, the place is yours. Oh, and you get to vote on a leader. Yep.
...But you're finding that Ice Cave sometime, right?
RULES:
Yes, we have them.
1)- All of Tess's rules apply.
2)- Don't hijack the roleplay- if you want to dig a hole, don't activate some weird miniplot that will make the Ice Crystal melt or something. Instead, find an animal that wouldn't normally be there, raise some buzz for a few days, then go back to regular stuff.
3)- Put "Revenge" in blue on your form as your character's middle name.
4)- Don't put authority over anyone else, as everyone will choose the leader, but I will still be in command of this roleplay.
5)- No fantasy animals or overpowering powers- don't make a Weredragon or an Elemental who can control someone else.
6)- Ignore rule three, put Collide in blue anywhere in your character's form.
7)- Fighting (in the RP) is alright, but don't go too far.
8)- Don't kill anyone, okay? Speaking of, no blood, gore, or cursing. Instead, use more appropriate words (crud, dang, etc.) or bleep it out (* it, Blank it out...).
9)- You have to have a power, okay? No powerless characters, and all characters must be able to speak.
10)- This is NOT a Romance RP. A crush or two is fine, but don't completely center around it.
