Bluekit snuggled towards the new she-cat that had snuggled against him. Was this his mother? But... why did she smell different? And where was her milk? (Awkward... xD)

"Never meant to be born!? Thoes kits were a blessing from EonClan! And your just going to walk away! They're kits for EonClan's sake! They need you as a mother Scorpiondance! Mangoshine wouldn't have wanted this!" Fernheart shouted after her.

Breezepaw huffed, shaking the dirt from his pelt. "I still won." He muttered under his breath.

yeah i know. but lets say she just loves kits. actually i don't think we having any she-cats who could nurse them do we?

Bellaclaw smiled down at the kits. she purred licking the top of Bluekits head. "just go to sleep little one. you will get milk soon."

Hawkspirit growled. "did you not just see yourself in the ground. you weren't able to move in that hold." he said "you never let your gaurd down. that move i did is very common for most clan."

Bluekit snuggled close to Bellaclaw, feeling nice and warm again. He was happy that his mother had returned, but wondered how she had changed so quickly.

"I pinned you before you pinned me!" Breezepaw repeated, clearly annoyed. "If you were an enemy warrior, I would have slit your throat before you could have thrown me off."

Fernheart padded over to Bellaclaw and Bluekit. "I can take him," Fernheart whispered softly, looking down at Bluekit. "By the sounds of it he needs milk. I still have some left, my own kits weren't made apprentices that long ago."

Bramblepaw headed over to his mother. "What's gonna happen now?" he asked his green eyes worried for the little kits.

Bellaclaw looked around. "Who is going to raise them though? " she mewed looking longily down at them.

Spiritstar looked back at his clan. "until we have found this murderer no cat will leave this camp by themselves. an apprentice must have a warrior or two. and there must be two warriors to each patrol. We have also gotten a threat from a past member. Duskfire, Diamondstar's daughter didn't agree with Diamondpaw's name. I fear that she may try something." looking at Diamondpaw. "i would like you to have a warrior with you at all times."

Diamondpaw mewled.

Hawkspirit laughed. "then you know nothing about the warrior code. We do not kill unless needed. plus if this were a real battle you would have never gotten close to me." he mewed.

Bluekit became confused. Where did all these mother cats come from? Which one was his real mom? Confused, he mewled cries of loss.

Shinekit was awoken by her brother's loud cries and she too began mewling.

Bellaclaw gasped. she quickly bent down and started to purr. genlty licking the kits fur backwards to keep them warm

"I will." Fernheart mewed softly. As soon as she said it, Fernheart became more certain of what she had agreed to. They need a mother, Skyleaf is busy enough already, being deputy and all. I'm the only queen fit enough to take care of them

((I just realized that Fernheart is like, exactly like Ferncloud in the warrior books xD))

Breezepaw snorted, padding away from his mentor. Thinks he's Mr. Know it all!
