Moonlight bent down and gently licked the kit's neck. Leafkit squealed and danced out of the way. Moonlight smiled and went outside, smelling her way to the fresh kill pile and choosing a small mouse.

Sparrowfeather sighed. And pawed at the ground walking over to Rainpaw, Sparkpaw and Hawkpaw. "Find if I go to patrol with you guys?" He said " If you want to patrol with...Me?" He said.

Hawkpaw nodded. "Yes, if you could. That'd be great, thank you." He answered quietly.

Sparrowfeather mewed quietly "Thank you." He said sighing finally someone not calling him a old man.

Moonlight walked back to the den and expected to hear Leafkit. No sound. "Leafkit?" No response. "LEAFKIT? Where are you?" She demanded. No noise, no giggles, anything. She raced out of the den, nearly missing a branch, and frantically smelt the ground for his trail. Nothing. Going to the back to the den, she smelt his trail exeting through the small secret passageway.

Rainpaw Shook her head. "Any one heard Moonlight say Leafkit?" She mews

"Leafkit?" Anctionness was showing in her voice as she was following leafkit's trail.

"Yeah, I heard it too." Sparkpaw answered Rainpaw, looking around camp for Moonlight and Leafkit. "I don't see them anywhere, though."

Hawkpaw frowned and licked his paw, his eyes half open. "Great, I guess the kit ran off. Do we have to go find him?" He grumbled, guessing he already knew the answer.

Sparkpaw sighed. "We probably should." He said reluctantly. He wanted to go on patrol, but if Leafkit was hurt, they needed to find him. "I wonder where he went.."
