The nurse slowly opened the door, trying to be quiet in case the patient was asleep.

"Oh crap I am so screwed" Alyce muttered under her breath. She heard the door open and hid behind the cupboard. "Don't come in, don't come in…" she begged to herself, hearing a nurses voice outside.

Just as the nurse was about to step in, one of the doctors called to her. She pulled the door to and walked over to the doctor.

Alyce sighed in relief as she heard the nurse be called away. She starred to panic again though as she heard someone else's foot steps. She grabbed the necklace around her neck and watched as it turned almost clear. She sighed in relief and stepped out from behind the cupboard, still dressed in her paper gown.

The door opened, revealing a tall man in a flowing white robe. He shut the door behind him, then turned. "Alyce. I am gladdened to see that you are well enough to be out of bed."

Alyce stared at the man in suprise. "D-dad? What the hell-I mean, what on earth are you doing on earth?" she stuttered, quite shocked.

The man appoached her, looking her over quickly. "I came to make sure you are okay, first and foremost. As you are well aware, the Fall is a painful experience."

Alyce stepped away from him, and said, "How would you know? It's not like you've ever Fallen."
