Why me? I see everyone else getting '08 VR and OMGsr pets, and I had my hopes up all day, but all I got were some mid '09 rares that I don't even like.

A lot. You could be talking about the July PPS there. It's full-grown form is worth quite a bit less, but it's still on the Rares List.

My original adopts weren't so great, seeing as I got two rares from '09 which aren't really in demand. But I did manage to trade with someone to get a Coon dog (had to sacrifice my Dragon PPS and a few other, but I don't care, I'm too happy). If it turns out to be the Coontail, it will be the perfect present for my friend. ^^
