Dear AJ ~ the first journal ~

here is the next entry.

Dear AJ,
Three days before prom and I still don't have a date Kai is looking for me but all the people she quizzes refuses to say anything I know now I'm over reacting but Rose is sticking to Midnight like glue now and I can't stand it so I started hanging out with Kai and her little gang. I actually met Cerin and he seems very nice Midnight doesn't seem so happy that I hang out with Kai now and is always trying to get my attention but I'm starting to think he is a jerk. I still love him with all my heart and I think he knows that...if he does why does he continue to torment me it is as bad as that time he said he was moving away to Lusk Valley. I swear Rose knows I like him and now she finds more time to brag about her going to the prom with him, sometimes I just can't take it of course Kai knows all this.
"I love how his fur is so soft when you give him a hug." Rose said loud enough for me to hear, my jaw clenched and Kai saw the anger flash in my eyes.
"Rose shh we are trying to plan the look for the stage and which band is coming." Kai warned.
"Sorry," Rose sighed, "Anyway Midnight offered me to go with him to the cinema and I agreed." Kai saw my fist clench and stood up and walked over to Rose looking real pissed off.
"Look don't you know the meaning of shut your freaking gob?" Kai snapped.
"Um..." Rose started.
"I have had enough of you speaking about Midnight cause all we hear from you motor mouth is Midnight this, Midnight that. Do you know how freaking annoying that is?" Kai continued. Rose just stared at her in shock, I gaped at Kai glad she was my friend and not my enemy.
"Very annoying so this is from me to you." Kai growled and punched her full on in the face. Rose yelped and held her nose in her paws whimpering and then ran off. Kai came back over to me and sat down smiling, everyone went slowly back to their work unsure of what just happened.
"Um...thanks." I said unsure of what to say.
"Your welcome that felt really good." Kai breathed and started to relax, I was starting to think I was really really lucky she was my friend and not my enemy, Kai was looking around the classroom when the speakers crackled and Kai smirked.
"May Kai please come to the office please." the intercom cackled and Kai stood up and walked out the classroom. What had Kai really got herself into helping me I had no clue.

I'll try but sometimes it's a typo mistake I type and it mucks up sorry! There is going to be a strange twist at the end and it's all planned out. So there is something for you to look forward to hehehe

Dear AJ,
I GOT A DATE YESSS THANK YOU KAI! Sorry over reacted, the teachers did nothing at all so Kai only got off with a warning much to Rose's shreiking and shouting that this school had favourites. Kai thinks that it's all just a laugh it actually was because everyone said that Rose threw the first hit, the school doubted that but then saw Kai has anger issues and needs serious anger management, so yeah they said that Kai must of had a mood swing and let her off with a warning. Oh...my date is Cerin he is real nice and very cute I met Shade and whoa his eyes are like Midnights but he asked Kai out as well now they are a couple. Cerin is so cute here is a picture.

Midnight actually ditched Rose to ask Kai why she punched her. Kai looked at him and glared at him.
"For your information, poor Crystal was getting really annoyed with her constant blabbering of you, so I shut her up seeing she didn't listen when I asked her nicely." She had snapped and I was really happy she didn't bring up my crush on him. He was stunned and sat down at the table, he looked a little shocked in fact and I smiled it wasn't often you saw Midnight like this.
"She was...talking about me?" He asked slightly scared.
"Yep, Midnight is amazing, Midnight is my date, Midnight..." Kai said imitating Rose.
"She wouldn't shut up." I chimed in, Midnight shook his head.
"I knew that she end up making you mad." He sighed, Kai looked at him and made a noise.
"Well duh Romeo." She scoffed. Midnight looked at me and saw I was quite hurt and he stood up and said goodbye and walked off.
"Shame you have to smell him later." Kai muttered and I broke out into a smile and giggled and she laughed with me. Silver and Sophia walked over followed by Magikon and we greeted them, (Magikon was in on the whole kick Zodiac's butt plan now) Silver sat down with Sophia next to him and he smiled at me and Kai.
"Hey you guys." He greeted us we smiled our replies and Cerin came and sat next to me with Shade who sat next to Kai. Cerin saw Silver and smiled at him.
"Hey Silver." He said slipping his paw in mine, Kai must of saw it because she nudged me and smiled, Midnight stormed out of the room and I was slightly puzzled by his behaviour. Kai gave Shade a hug and he smiled and hugged her back.
"Hey dude." Silver replied and Sophia smiled at Cerin and Magikon jumped up next to her and sat down.
"Midnight has been acting really strange in our group since you left it." Sophia purred and I shrugged.
"Not my problem he hangs out with Rose." I said.
"He doesn't like her in the way he likes you." Silver said and I froze was he saying Midnight likes, LIKES me.

Dear AJ,
Me and Kai are in mine and Sophia's room at Kane's place, we are in sticthes about Rose's newest complaint to the head of the commity. She keeps saying Kai is there to ruin it and make it one of those gothic bashes but the head says she is just jealous of Kai's amazing designs and wants that job for herself, thank you Sophia. Rose now is tryig to ruin Kai's job and the prom is tomorrow yay Cerin is planning to pick me up and I'm going to rub it into Midnight's face like he is doing with Rose, she is in his room now trying to cheer mr stropy pants up.
"Can you believe her feeble attempts." Kai giggled and I shook my head in an attempt to answer through the pain of laughing to hard.
"No." I gasped and laughed harder then we heard hammering on my door and I got up to answer it, pulling it open I saw Rose glaring at me.
"Would you just shut up." She snapped.
"We were just talking about you." I laughed unable to stop and Kai laughed even harder if that was possible.
"Oh really." Rose sighed and I nodded in hysterics, me and Kai just couldn't stop laughing.
"Yep about your feeble attempts to get me kicked off the commity." Kai scoffed her shoulders shaking.
"Oh...you..." Rose began but stared in shock as we just laughed, "Um...you can stop laughing." Me and Kai tried to stop but couldn't and Rose seemed thoughtful then Midnight appeared from the door and Rose looked at him and shrugged.
"Sorry...we...just can't...stop." I said falling to the floor and continuing to laugh. Midnight walked over and signalled for Kai to follow and we stopped laughing and he lead her off to talk to, I stood up and glanced at Rose. She shrugged and I invited her in she kindly accepted and we sat there in silence.
"I know you like him Rose." I told her a while later.
"Uh...yeah." She said unsure of what to say.
"I mean like, like him. It's pretty obvious." I said to her and she blinked at me in surprise.
"Oh...right." she said slowly.
"Try not talking about him so much." I told her and she scoffed, I blinked at her and saw her smirking at me, looks like nothing changed.
"Oh right and who are you to give me relationship advice." she laughed and I glared at her and then growled at her.
"He doesn't pay any attention to you." I growled and she looked at me and then shot to her feet.
"Oh yeah he's happy you don't hang with him no more." she snapped and I felt my blood boil, I punched her dead in her, just-started-to-heal, nose and she screeched and then wacked me. It was soft and didn't really hurt then she scratched me with her manicured nails and I yelped, it killed and I saw why the nail varnish was one I was allergic to and I was begining to feel quite dizzy so I leapt forward and sunk my teeth into her arm then Kane walked in and I passed out.

When I awoke I was in hospital with a bandage wrapped round my shoulder, I sat up and whimpered, it was agony to move. Kai rushed in and took a seat next to me.
"Rose is talking to Midnight he isn't happy and want to know what happened he was worried sick when Kane told him what he saw." Kai said her deep sapphire eyes full with tears, I gaped at her.
"Are you crying?" I asked her in amazement.
"Well duh, my best friend was just rushed to hospital with poor chances of survival of course I am freaking crying like a baby." she smiled.
"Don't cry it's my fault." I told her feeling guilty then stopped why should I feel guilty it was Rose's fault I hope she is arrested. Cerin walked in and stood by me and smiled in relief.
"I came as soon as Kai told me what happened are you alright?" He asked, I smiled and nodded glad he was here. "Good that's good." he breathed and sat down as Midnight stormed in.
"Why'd you punch Rose?" He snapped at me.
"Oh great take her side then." I croaked and Midnight glared at me.
"She was only defending herself." He snapped back then Cerin and Kai shot to their feet and together they managed to wrestle him out of my room, boy I really hate Rose.

Dear AJ,
It's prom night and I'm waiting for Cerin to show up, we're getting a limo with Kai and Shade since I refused Midnight's offer, my shoulder is still sore and still in a bandage but I don't care. Looking out the window I see a limo turn into the carpark and Kai push Cerin out the door. I can't help but giggle, I go to the door and open it and Cerin walks up to me a dopey smile on his face and then hands me a beautiful red rose. I take it a smile on my face and he holds out his hand.
"Come on love birds I do want to get to the prom sometime today." Kai shouts to me and I let myself relax abit.
"She hasn't changed." I remark and Cerin shakes his head laughing and we run over to the car and climbed in. Kai smiles at me and gives me a hug the way friends do and I smile at her.
When we arrived I was amazed at the place and I gave Kai a thumbs up.
"Wait till you see the inside." She said pushing me inside and Cerin and Shade walked after us, we reached the doors and my breath caught in my throat, it was amazing. I saw Midnight over near the satin curtains that were a deep blue and saw him watching me. Blue came over and gave me a hug.
"You look...wow." He said and I thanked him then Kane came over with Drew and said hi. Siver and Sophia were sat near the skylight which allowed pale moonlight to flood in, Silver was smitten and so was Sophia. Rose came over next her arm had a nice bite mark.
"It's an improvement Crystal but Kai...cut it with the gothic crap." Rose sighed and Kai growled at her and I held her back as she went to literally kill Rose.
"Go back to my brother cream puff." Shade snapped and Rose looked confused, "Midnight." he continued and she blinked in surprise then hurried over to Midnight. The rest of us except Kai just looked at Shade.
"Midnight's your brother?" Drew asked a little shocked, Midnight nodded.
"Yeah, he ran away when we were pups, I thought he was dead." Shade said sadly and I looked at Kai who put her hand on Shade's shoulder.
"Now that's over with lets go party." I said in attempt to lighten up the mood and everyone cheered.

Half way through the party Midnight strolled over to me and sat next opposite to me and Kai. She growled as he sat down but Midnight ignored it.
"Snap at her and you'll have a knuckle burger." she growled softly, Midnight held his paws up then stared at me.
"How are you feeling?" He asked me, I looked at him blankly.
"Fine, not like you care anymore." I muttered and Midnight reached out and put his paw on mine.
"I'll never stop caring about you." He said and my breath caught in my throat and Kai coughed on her drink some how.
"So you having a go at her shows that how?" Kai choked.
"I'm sorry but Rose is so annoying she has a breakdown on me and you flirting with Cerin kind of set me off." Midnight said sadly.
"I was not flirting with Cerin." I snapped, "For you information I was going to ask you but Rose got there first."
"Oh..." Midnight said amazed.
"I've always liked you and you were thick enough not to realise..." I started but didn't finish as a massive bang rung out behind me. I turned to see the skyline fall on Silver and Sophia.
"Silver! Sophia!" I shouted. Then Zodiac (devil in the making) jumped down onto their table, he looked around and grinned.
"Hello old friend." He said jumping down off the table and I gaped at him. Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me out of veiw it was Cerin.
"I love you Crystal." He whispered in my ear and I realised I did have a thing for him but my feelings for Midnight were still there how did this work?
"I love you too." I told him and much to Midnight's horror, we kissed and then Zodiac turned to face me.
"Bye Crystal." He growled and sent the lightening flying at me, Cerin jumped up and sheided me.
"CERIN!" I screamed as the lightening hit him and he yelped, then it was over and Cerin fell to the floor and Zodiac growled.
"Stupid mutt made me weak, I'll be back." Zodiac grumbled and vanished again. I looked at Cerin, people were staring at him in horror wondering if he was knocked out, I pulled myself over to him and took his paw.
"Please don't be dead." I begged him, tears forming in my eyes.

Dear AJ,
It's been exactly a week since the prom incident and I haven't wrote because we were planning a funeral. Kai's been supportive there is three possible victims: Silver, Sophia or Cerin isn't there? Silver and Sophia when the Skyline fell on them and Cerin when Zodiac zapped him, well anyway to day after the funeral.
"Poor..." Midnight said then shut up because Sophia began to cry, (not Sophia) immediatly Silver comforted her (not Silver) I felt warm salty tears slide down my cheek, when the doctors examind him I already knew the answer the shock was so powerful it stopped his heart and his brain and instantly he was brain dead it happened to my mother when she protected me last time this happened. It's funny how everyone dies protecting me, how sad, I feel heartbroken I finally had a boy that likes me and he died saving me from freaking Zodiac the life stealer. I hate him I fled from my home town because he killed my parents not because I was grounded or anything like that because he killed my parents.
"I'm so sorry this happened." Kai said she was the only one who was managing to pull her head round this.
"It's not your fault." Kane said and Shade agreed he was in on the plan now. We decided to move on to the next town since Zodiac had decided to charge his powers and Blue knew where that was. I instantly knew where it was because the next town we were going to was the place he killed my parents the next place on our map was my home town and I wasn't looking forward to it.
"Can't we stay in the nearby village and not in the actual town." I begged and Midnight looked at me. The I saw Rose run up to us in amazement.
"Your leaving?" she asked Midnight.
"Yeah brings up to much for Crystal." he said and I thumped him angry that he was blaming it on me.
"Well you don't have to go with them you could stay at my place." She begged and I glared at her.
"Well..." Midnight said unsure and I blinked at him.
"Bye Midnight. Come on guys." I said knowing his answer and we all got moving leaving Midnight and Rose behind.

We reached the coach park and the lady called out our group and we walked up to her then we heard it shouting for us to wait and the coach squinted off into the difference and sighed.
"A dark dog, black misty fur with purple eyes...is he on your party?" she asked chewing her gum and I gaped and we all spun round. Kai nudged me, I turned to face her.
"Shut your mouth you'll catch flys." she hissed and I obediantly shut my mouth as Midnight reached us not even out of breath and gave me a hug.
"Your the one I love." He whispered and I hugged him back, he was finally getting the message. I was just happy that he chose me over Rose she was his dream girl but not the way he thought...
