"Karl, that's no way to punish someone who has done wrong," Solomon stated as he watched the other male pin her right to the ground. It also looked as though she would be crushed at any moment. "You've changed greatly, Brother. It's a shame too." He stepped a little to the side, silently hoping that he wouldn't have to interfere.

Erika grid her teeth, a small whimper of pain escaping her lips. "I'm sorry Karl senpai!" she said, trying to squirm out from under her mentor. Her eyes flooded with pain, as she prayed her arm wouldn't snap from the pressure.

Karl grinned, hearing the familiar voice. "Solomon? Why, this is such a surprise." he cackled, looking at him with wild amber eyes. He didn't seem bothered by the males comment towards his change. He didn't really care either. "Have to come to join in the hunt this evening? The humans are quite fun to chase down at night." he snickered, still holding Erica down.

"I'd rather not," Solomon said, not even bothering to consider the offer. "I spend my time saving lives. I don't want to take innocent ones just for the my own amusement like you both." With the way Karl was acting, Solomon was somewhat ashamed to call him family. "What made you act this way," he said quietly, though he didn't expect Karl to answer. Quite frankly, he didn't care what changed him. Solomon just kept promising himself that he wouldn't change to a creature like him.

Karl quirked a brow, eventually letting Erica up. He none to gently pushed her aside to inspect his brother. "Me? Act like what?" he replied, circling the other Chevalier with a predatory gleam in his eyes. "What made you decided to act like that goody two shoes Haji? He mustve corrupted your mind Solomon. The humans won't accept us, and we're above them. You need to get your head out of the clouds" Karl criticized. "To think that you enjoy saving them makes me sick to my stomach."

The twisted man stopped behind Solomon, letting his finger trail down the blondes spine, he grinned wickedly again. "By the way, have you seen that man hanging around? I heard hes in town... Perhaps I should exterminate your inspiration to be 'good' in your immortal and pointless life."

"Jeez Karl, you lard." Erika grumbled, rubbing her wrist with a cleary not happy face. "Yeah, I gotta admit, you've changed Solo-chan~"

"You already know how much I despise him," Solomon stated as he warily watched him. "Ever since the two queens were around, I've hated him. Yet, I've never had the heart to take him out myself. And, why not help them? It's something I've been doing long before I was made into a chevalier. And since there are few chiropteran to fight off, this is the only other thing I can do. I wouldn't sink down to your level, Karl." Solomon made a twisted and irritated face when he felt a small pressure move down his spine. "Cut it out," he grumbled as he swatted his hand away. His golden gaze flickered over to Erica. "If anything, I've changed very little, and it's you two that have changed greatly."

Erika only shrugged. "Or maybe you are just getting old." she said, poking his chest with her finger. "I'm only following orders."

Karl scoffed, hurrying around to face Solomon head on. "Youre lying. Youve gone soft!" the chevalier hissed, prodding Solomon in the chest with a claw. "If you can't even take out your greatest enemy, then that only proves my point. You hated him because the queens were around and you wanted Saya. Now that shes gone, you have no reason to hate him. I bet youd like to go and make friends with him, right? Pathetic." Karl said, poking the doctor harder and harder with every other word. He cackled, grinning eerily at Ericas remark. "Has your mind gone too? Maybe that would explain why youve suddenly decided you don't want to kill that sap of a Chevalier."

Maybe Karl was right. Solomon just hated Haji for all the time he could spend with Saya, and the fact that she seemed to love him much more than himself, even after siding with her. "I feel that wanting her has got me nowhere," he said after his moment of silence. "And will you cut it out." He swatted his clawed hand away once more, an irritated scowl appearing on his face. "Haji hasn't shown me hostility since then, so why should I eliminate him now? I don't kill without a reason, unlike you."
