Rules:
1) Respect me as the owner. If I make mods, respect them just as much as me.
2) Even out genders and species. If there are ten females and five males, make a male.
3) If you want a change in plot--romance, demon fights, etc, PM me. It'll add drama.
4) I'll try to update this as much as possible. PM me if I miss something.
5) NO: advertising, posting OOC without a real post, making a Mary/Gary Sue, godmodding, powerplaying, making character that are related (spouse, sibling, witch/wizard and their demon etc) or being in love with your own character. However, romance and drama are encouraged here. Just not too many details please.
6) No anime please. I want to make this real.
7) If you read the rules, do not put a codeword in the codeword spot.
8) MOST IMPORTANT: If you ignore my rules, I'll ignore YOU. Don't get upset with me or my mod if you're ignored because you left something blank or didn't follow a rule. You may ask questions but not, "Am I accepted?" If I missed your form, my bad.
9) It is a huge taboo for demons and humans to have relationships, but that has happened in the past. It is hard for both parties to hide the relationship, and if it does come to light, then both the demon and the human will be hunted.Species Information:
HumanHumans are....well, us. All humans in this RP with work for either the Church or the Demon-Hunting Division of the Empire; basically demon slayers. They search the towns and villages for any information on a local witch or wizard, or odd things happening; a sudden local heat spell, or a random freeze in the food stores. Then they track down anyone who doesn't go to Church every day, or doesn't go at all, or other seemingly suspicious crimes. (The Church and Empire believe that witches and wizards have the same religious weaknesses as demons do, but that is a mere rumor.)
Witch/Wizard:Witches are female, and wizards are male. They are simply humans who have made deals with demons for power, the same power that that specific demon has. The powers vary on the demons and their species, and so do the deals. Like many people expect, the deals are usually for that humans soul, or to be an eternal servant in the afterlife. However, in the mortal world, that demon is in the power of the humans; they must obey whatever their witch or wizard orders, whether that be simple tasks like, "Go clean the stables," or more dangerous ones, such as, "If Blah-Blah tries to follow me to Bob's House, kill them." Witches and Wizards are usually younger, as some teens dare eachother to try and make a deal with a demon, and they do not realize how dangerous that is until the deal is finished.
DemonsAll demons are creatures that, most of the time, are bipedal and humanoid in shape. Very rarely do they look human enough to pass as you and me, but in some rare cases they are just human enough to hide their demonic nature. Demons can speak any mortal language, and a few that mortals do not know. They are weak to any religious objects, incantations (hymns and holy book verses) and very religious people. Animals are afraid of them, and usually attack or run away. All demons can take the shape of a mortal creature, but only one, and in that shape they usually have a little thing that sets them off from the normal critters--different eyes, coloration, or other things; nothing too unusual, like a cat with wings.
PerurPerur are the "classic" demons; the fire ones. Perur demons can control and create fire, plasma, light, and heat. They are the more numerous species of demons, and the species that the Church--and by extension, the Empire--hates the most. Perur demons are much more aggressive and prone to obscene acts of pointless violence. Perur demons usually look like the classic demons--red colored, spade-tipped wings, and horns.
GeluGelu demons are the demons most humans have never heard of. They control and create ice, cold, darkness, and in rare cases, water. Gelu demons are endangered, and by extension, losing the war, even though they are more powerful by demons standards. Gelu demons are less aggressive and more clever than their Perur cousins. They do not look like the classic devil-demons; they are much different, and usually more animalistic and alien in appearance.
