I don't understand schools sometimes.

Last day before Christmas break, our classes are TEN MINUTES long. EVERY CLASS WILL BE SHOWING A MOVIE. Not teaching or ANYTHING of value. We will be watching the SAME movie we have EVERY other year. Then after our classes, we have THREE HOURS of the SAME movie we have to sit in a class and watch.
We get out an hour early.

THIS COUNTS HAS A DAY.
Why in the WORLD does this even count has a day? We will be learning nothing, we will be doing nothing, nothing will be happening besides the showing of a Christmas Story. While it's one of my favorite movies of all time, seeing it every year gets boring.

Just let us have this day off. Why make it mandatory to watch a movie two times every year?

Maybe it's because I'm a Senior and am just sick of the same thing every year.
I'm staying home. I can't take this crap every year. I have MUCH better things to do with my time.
Like reading books and drawing dragons. But I wouldn't be able to do this, because it's mandatory to watch the movie. We can't bring anything to the classes to do, WE HAVE to watch that darn movie. I can't read in the library or in the movie class instead of watching a movie. I wonder if education is that important to our school as they spout it is.

Arrr... I am so annoyed now. :P I spent 2 and 1/2 hours working on my new pet thread, (ie. copying all my posts over from the old one). I had it set to "Do Not Post." And what do you know, someone posted. Augh. So I sent them a PM.

Look, honestly, I do not wish to bother you, but could you please delete you post? It wouldn't take you a minute, and I'd sure appreciate it.
