Arowin motioned for Kyle to ride closer. She smiled at him and then motioned for Stephan to ride up behind them. Brander reached out with his grey nose to say hello to Kyle but Arowin gently pulled him back. "Kyle, its time we told you who you are and why you are here." she said.

Kyle nodded, his eyes widened slighlt in antipition. "Alright." he said fidgeting on his mount who then pranced alongside the grey gelding of Arowin's after feeling his riders nerves. Kyle took a quick glance at Stephan and then turned back to Arowin.

"You are the only son and heir of King John and his late wife Queen Arianna." she said looking ahead into the shadows of the old forest before looking back at him. His mouth was slack in shock but he did not interrupt her so she contined. "I took you from your crib all those years ago and we raised you to be a strong, true and fair leader. Your father, as you know has been a tyrant to the entier kingdom and that is why you had to be saved from your father as he would have raised you to be just like him." she said watching his face change slightly as he took it all in. "Stephan is your cousin and a prince." she added before again drawing rein. "I must leave you two now. Take the gold to the far villages who are in desperate need of it and then return so that we can decide the Hood's next move." she said and tossed her saddlebags to the young prince.

Kyle's brain swarmed and spun as he tried to take it all in. He was the prince of this entire kingdom. His mother is dead, his father a tyrant and his cousin with him all along to help raise him and love him. He had been kidnapped to be spared a terrible future. He caught the saddle bags and nodded, not speaking as he was still trying to accept everything. The Hood is the only family he has ever known and they are being destroyed by his true family. He looked at Stephan and then drew his horse to him.

Frank chuckled and tucked in straight away, gobbling the oatmeal up in minutes and giving a gracious belch at the end of it "Wow, ive never had a tastier breakfast" he said wiping his mouth with his sleeve.

Matthew's long since trained eyes followed the movement. Sam was fast, very fast, but trees were not good things to run on, especcially when the wind was dead. All Matt could hear and see was the movement, the constant movement of the other man, and all he could do was follow the body with with his arrow, which was permanently poised at the ready to shoot. Somehow though, he felt he should not. he felt compelled, maybe not to trust, but most certainly not to harm. It just wasn't his style to hit before you hear.

Adailia was already cantering away after the spy, her eyes transfixed on his movements as she sat low and deep into Uthers saddle. She had no idea what she was going to do, either if she got close to him or even caught him.

Arowin turned to Stephan and looked him in the eye. "Look after him Stephan. His days in The Hood are drawing to a close and he will need you now more than ever." she said and looked back at Kyle. She then bowed her head in farewell and spurred her grey gelding back down the forest path that they had just come down. After a while of rising she noticed signs of a camp and of people nearby. She jumped off her horse and set him galloping back for the hideout. She jumped up into a tree and moved from branch to branch till she came across the intruders of the forest. She smirked slightly as she looked down at Mathew and then followed his gaze to the drifting shadows. She heard hoofbeats fast approaching and followed the sound till she saw a girl on a horse moving after the same prey as Mathew. She quickly drew an arrow and shot it into the ground just before the horse causing it to rear up and stop. Arowin moved out of the shadows of the branches so that the girl could see her. "Who are you and why do you venture so deep into the unforgiving forest?" she said in her hard but light voice.

Lady Pippa stood outside the castle watching the horses graze. A particular white mare caught her attention. She knew straight away that it had once been her sister's own horse.

Adailia shrieked as Uther reared up, squealing angrily and spinning rouund. Her sword spun through the air and hit the ground with a loud clink and her hands shot up Uthers reins to control him. "Wha....why, whos there?!!" she called in a shaky tone, her white hair concelaing her face as Uther snorted loudly and struck out with his front legs as a figure appeared infront of them.

"You really shouldn't be in the forest if your heart is this week." Arowin said just sidestepping the horse's striking leg after she had jumped down from the tree. "What is your purpose coming this deep into the forest? So close to where The Hood roam?" she said with a grin looking up at the rider. Even though Arowin no longer was the leader of The Hood the air of a strong leader still surrounded her and still filled her wih the same pride. In truth it saddened her that she had stepped down as leader, she had only done it to be with Chris but it turns out that that was not the way things would be and now there was no taking it back.

Emerald giggled and shook her head. "Don't choke now." she said in mock surprise. She finished her oatmeal, just able to eat the last bite. She sighed and sat back in the chair, rubbing her belly. She looked over at Frank ,her eyes wide, and giggled as he burped. "My my. Somebody's feeling a bit better."

Prince Stephan sat motionless, a quizzical expression on his face. He nodded to Arowin, and once she was gone, turned to stare at Kyle. "Well," he said, trying to lighten the mood asides from the fact that his voice was filled with a dry sort of humor. "She didn't put it very carefully, did she?" He fidgeted a moment more in an awkward silence. He spoke again, his voice soft. "I know how you feel. My father is King John- your father-'s brother, and he rules a more peaceful, smaller kingdom north of this land. Ever since you and I both strangely disappeared from the King's court, he has had his soldiers searching everywhere for us. And it has been five years since." He paused. "I met the Hood as their prisoner, but that is a very long story that is for another time. I never knew how long I would be gone from home."

Sam froze in shock as he saw a familiar figure stop his pursuers. It was his long-time rival, Arowin, from the Hood. The utter surprise made him do a double-take, before he stepped out of the shadows, facing Arowin's back. He eyed the travelers warily, then Arowin, his hand gripping his dagger.

Arowin heard a twig snapped and for once she was caught off guard. She swung around and spotted Sam a meer few feet away from her holding his dagger. Her mind quickly ran through everything and she reached for her own dagger. "You." she said sneering slightly. She took a few steps backwards and positioned her self into a defensive position so that if he attacked she would have a better chance of tarrying his attack and maybe landing a blow herself. In truth she wasn't that sure of herself in hand to hand combat, she was much better with her bow and the element of surprise. A few strands of her vivid red hair strayed across her eyes but she didn't move to push them away.

Kyle nodded. "So what does that mean?" he asked attaching the saddlebags to his saddle. "Do I have to go back? What happens if they catch us?" he asked facing Stephan. He trusted him fully and felt closer to him knowing this information. He didn't want to leave The Hood, even if they weren't his true family.

Rebecca headed out into the woods at a brisk trot enjoying the day as it came. She headed towards a trail where she knew berry bushes grew in there thousands. She smiled thinking of their sweet juice. She had never been much of a cook but maybe she could use them for something. As they reached the trail Rebecca pulled Lara to a halt and then opened the whicker basket and took it down from her saddle. She pulled a few berries off eating some every now and then. A bit of the blue juice ran down her chin and she giggled to herself and wiped it away before reaching for another. Pricking her finger on a thorn she jumped back and sucked on it till to stop the bleeding while using her free hand to pick some more. She hummed happily as she worked moving further and further along the trail while her chestnut mare grazed not far off.
