"Well.. The borders seem quiet. Lets get back to camp." Wolfie turned around and padded back to camp, her lower jaw open checking for the scent of prey whilst she walked. In no time at all they were back at camp.

Dark attacked and dragged a deer back to camp.

Wolfie went into her den and sat down, wondering if there was anything she needed to take care of.

Selene nodded, still a little shocked from being moved up a rank, but she was glad that Wolfie had decided to choose her. And she'd do what ever she could to help keep the pack safe and boarders secure. Once at camp she said a goodbye to Wolfie and padded back into the forest to hunt. She didn't pick up much at first but soon caught the scent of rabbit.

Wolfie sat at the mouth of her den and peered into the clearing. She decided to go for a walk. As she padded slowly out of the camp, she thought to herself, Why should I have to be bored everyday? Time to have fun! Instead of taking her usual turn into the heart of the forest, she turned the other way, wondering what it would bring her. Its got to be better than sitting at camp doing nothing, she thought to herself. Her mind was made up. She trotted along a well worn path, until it brought her to another clearing. It took her a while to realise she had ended up where the gathering was held. Of course! she thought But this isn't our usual gathering route? Maybe we've found a short cut! She didn't find any scent markings along the way, so she hadn't crossed any borders. "Great! A short cut to the gathering! We won't have to cross streams anymore now!" She spoke aloud, knowing that no-one would hear her. Or so she thought... "Wolfie?"

Selene let out a small growl as she the scent led down into a burrow. She shook out her fur and walked towards the stream, hoping to find something near there. Memories of her old pack and mate played in her head.
